For the Clippers, this is a way to get Dudley contract off.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/statuses/504342753200054273">August 26, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Don't get this for the Clips at all. Maybe CP3, Blake or Doc really didn't like Dudley in the locker room. EDIT: Or it's just about $ from new owner Il Duce.
The difference is LA Clips took back Delfino as salary, the Lakers didn't give the Rox any salary at all. And also, the Lakers will have to pay 8M extra to have Lin around, that alone is worth a low first rounders...worth 2 first rounders in fact since you can buy 2 first rounders for 8M.
I wonder what happened to Delfino. Woj tweet is the first I've heard anything about him missing the year.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>In Jared Dudley deal, I'm told Bucks get a protected 2017 first-rounder from Clips while Milwaukee sends future second-rounder to LAC</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/statuses/504350541300776960">August 26, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Now the Woj tweet about Delfino missing the season is gone. DId he delete it or am I just not seeing it.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>The pick given to Milwaukee by the Clippers is a protected 2017 first-rounder, I'm told. And again, Clips get their own '15 2nd rounder back</p>— Sam Amick (@sam_amick) <a href="https://twitter.com/sam_amick/statuses/504350812001169409">August 26, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
He fractured his foot during our 2013 playoffs against OKC. It never really healed well, so he had surgery last Dec. He didn't play last year. Not sure about this year. There was talk last year that he'd retire. I think he has been working out a little this summer.
