We have a rogue President who is about to break the military in order to try and save face in a war that's already been lost, we're losing a war in Afghanistan, the Federal government's Budget process has been intentionally broken by the outgoing Congress, a US citizen was thrown in a slammer without recourse to lawyers or trial (he just happened to be a whistleblower suggesting theft and illegal arms deals were going on in Iraq), violence in Iraq is at a record number, violent crime is up for the 2nd straight year... the first time since the early 90's, the administration just sold a bunch of nuclear stuff to India, and 70% of the American public disagree with how the war is being managed (to name a few important things) yet the top threads in this forum deal with blow-jobs, Jesus, gays, Planned Parenthood, Rosie O'Donnell, and Stem Cells. One or two I can see, but six?
i hear ya. but it's not as if the topics you mentioned haven't been talked about over and over and over again here. i would venture to say that, short of the Rockets, themselves, no subject has been the basis of more threads than the war in Iraq.
the blow job story fits in with the police state and our complete out of touch with the typical standards of western post-industrial modern democracies.
theres not really much left to say about it..........how many different ways can one say "bush sucks," or "the war is wrong," or "the government is doing lots of things it shouldnt."
I'd comment on some of this, but in the past few days, all I've seen on the news is the search for the hikers in Washington.
I was against impeachment proceedings as bad for America and politics in general. But I'm beginning to believe it's the only way we're going to stop the insanity this joke of a president has brought to our once great country. Has anyone read about the signing statement Jr issued on the new India nuclear deal he signed yesterday? ---------------- Bush signing statement on US-India nuclear deal erases Congressional restrictions http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Bush_signing_statement_seeks_to_erase_1219.html
why do you hate mangos? as far as impeachment, it needs to happen. everyday that bush remains in office he is doing harm to america and everything it stands for. we need justice. the entire administration needs to be put on trial for what they have done and held accountable for their actions.
I'm (just barely) in favor of the agreement with India. But that article is very troubling. Seems like anything Bush does has some kind of stinky smell to it.
