We're being encouraged to resurrect the Official Heat thread from the dead. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=193734
I will revel in whoever the loser is, most likely the Heat. The Lakers are on a roll and will look to return the humiliation dished out on Christmas Day. But if the Heat win, it would be awesome to see the Lakers gone down. O man that would be sweet!
My prediction is Heat bounces back and win this one But who knows, It's either Lebron going crazy, or Lakers Bigs going crazy. Either way hopefully this is a good game.
I honestly don't give a damn about any other team than the Rockets. I just can't get myself to care about any other teams besides the home team. Don't know how others do it but I can't.
Oh come on, just tell us the truth I don't know if you like LA or not but you're likely rooting for a LA blowout over Miami, and seeing LeBron fail or choke again.
My ideal scenario: Heat lose. Bosh only puts up 7 to 10 shots in the whole game and disappears in the 4th. Lebron and Wade get no support. Lebron misses a game winning shot. Post-game, we see more public complaining, Phil takes a jab at them and asks whether or not the Heat are crying after this one too. ....lol, honestly, I dont care who wins or loses, but if I had to choose between these two, I'd pick the Lakers.
So I want 1 of 2 things to happen... 1. Lakers get out to a huge lead, say 20 points by halftime. Miami comes back and sends game to OT on a clutch shot by Bosh in the last 10 seconds. Lakers take lead in OT as Lebron and Wader miss clutch shots and commit silly TO's. or 2. Both teams play horrible 1st quarters each shooting below 40% shooting leading to like a 23-22 score. Then WWE style, the Celtic show and whip both teams.
Regretably, I've been rooting for the Lakers and the Spurs way too much this season, but I'm just rooting for the Western Conference at this point. If these guys really think they can huddle up in the Eastern Conference and get a free ride to the finals then I hope they get stomped. With the Rockets pretty much out of it, I am going to cheer for hardnosed, well executed basketball over star power.
I just want the universe to implode and both teams lose. Seriously, a blowout either way would be great. I want to see somebody cry. Ideal scenario: The Heat comes out to dominate for 3 quarters, leading 25 points. Then the Heat chokes in the 4th and Lakers go on a 30-6 run. It comes down to a 1-point games with 5 seconds to go. Lakers ball. Everybody and his grandma know it's Kobe time. Kobe gets the ball; LeBron guarding him. One dribble crossover; LeBron falls on the floor; Kobe shoots an airball to lose the game.
I think you mean "Kobe shoots an airball, Pau Gasol tips it in at the buzzer for the win. Fanboys go crazy declaring Kobe the most clutch player in history."
