    A. We can get another Ex-Knick to make Van Gundy Happy
    B. He has more range than our current PFs
    C. Is more athletic and a better ball handler than our current PFs
    D. Didn't play for Michigan

I dont know how dumb the Knicks are, but they did trade for Moochie Norris and paid Shandon Anderson.
    :D

    PG Sura
    SG Tmac
    SF Jackson
    PF Tim Thomas
    C Yao

All of our players would be athletic, quick, and have length. We can block shots with Tmac/Yao/Tiim Thomas

we can shoot the 3s -Sura/Tmac/Jackson/Thomas

    Only one problem.

Tim Thomas is a SF, not a PF.

MoT and Howard are both better rebounders and shooters than Thomas anyway.

All Thomas gives you over those two is 3 pt range, and its not like hes a dead eye.

I don't know about taking on his contract, but he's the athletic type of power forward the Rockets need next to Yao. The Rockets team athleticism, with the exception of Mcgrady, stinks.

    Thats right Teddy Riley!

Tim Thomas is 'what if Robert Horry was a better ball handler'.

    What???

Tim Thomas is versatile, he's like Robert Horry. He can play 4 positions.

Ya he can. But Tim Thomas is more of a SF than PF, and in the West, that makes a HUGE difference.

BullFan knows that Tim Thomas is pure talent.

Robert Horry played PF for the Lakers and Rockets and won 6 titles.
I think we would do fine with Tim Thomas, even though he's not married to Jada.

He maybe overrated, but he's quicker, younger, handles the ball better , and shoots (with range) better than our PFs now.

If you think Tim Thomas is overrated what are Mo Taylor and Juwan?
    Underachievers?

Tim Thomas can beat both of those dudes 1 on 2.

Tim Thomas for PF. You've got to be kidding me.

    1. He's not a PF.
    2. He's overpaid.
    3. He doesn't rebound.

At least J-How has enough toughness to literally beat people out of the paint (ie derek anderson) unlike TThomas who let fat @$$ Jason Collins beat him down and then cried about it for weeks afterwards.

    Dude are u r****ded??
First of all, tim thomas can play pf in the east FOR THE KNICKS... how the f**k is he gonna play pf in the west?
Second, if J.Howard and Mo taylor are weak rebounders with limited defensive abilities as PF's, compared to Tim Thomas, they might as well be Pj Brown.
Third, while Motay's contract is overprice and while you complain about jhoward and his contract, which is debateable, Tim freaking Thomas is getting paid almost 13mil this year!!! So basically his contract is the sum of both jh and motay.
Lastly and not least, TIm thomas is not a PF!!! NOR is he a maxed level player !!!! NOr is he is a solution to our "problem" at the 4. So please go back to making stupid threads about JHoward.

Look at the Lakers, Rudy has Lamar Odom at PF and he's grabbing boards and making plays.

Its about athleticism. He's Horry without the Jazzy Jeff.

    1. He can play PF, he's 6-10.
    2. He's about as overpaid as Mo Taylor. Juwan Howard started the overpaid player phenomenon. If Tim Thomas is Justin Timerlake, Juwan is Michael Jackson and Prince and George Michael.
    3. Yes he can rebound. He's 6-10 and quick.

We had a PF who shot well and wasn't know as a rebounder.
We won a championship with him.

    His name was MATT BULLARD!!
