We have no guy on this team that can fire up everyone with an electrifying play. We are missing that explosive player that can light it up by dunking it on the opposing teams head. Von can bring that intensity and light up from three point land as well. Lee hasn't done much except hit some jumpers and that's it. I love Martin and he is a great starter but he doesn't bring it hard to the rack. Kevin relies on drawing fouls and getting to the line which is great but you won't see him dunking it in traffic. The Celtics got back Delonte West today and won't be needing Von anymore so if Morey is smart, he will bring back Vonfire!!!
Von has improved a lot on defense, you would be surprised. Being on the Celtics for a little bit has really helped his defense tremendously.
I have always wondered about that...is it because of Doc Rivers and the coaching staff or do they just have that kind of defensive mindset?
He gets minutes here and there but not that much. His game high in minutes this season is 11. Now that West is back from suspension, Von will most likely see only garbage time. There is word that they might cut him now.
