"The Rockets on Tuesday issued their official response to the Mavericks' protest of the Rockets' win at Dallas Dec. 18, contending that there was no misapplication of the rules, as Dallas owner Mark Cuban contended that night, but rather a common referee's judgment in question. The NBA has until next Tuesday to rule on the protest." - Jonathan Feigen

I thought the protest was that the referees could not review the play after a called flagrant-1 (it had to be a flagrant-2).

This is so pointless for him to do. Absolutely nothing is going to come out of this.

I wonder if this was all just a $10,000 appeal to blow smoke that would keep the league from looking at Jason Kidd's be-a-man no-flagrant no-suspension foul on....Gawd, I can't even remember; on Andersen?

Wow, really? I could actually kinda see his point before, where he's just trying to be a dick about a technicality. I was worried they might actually uphold his request. But if he's just complaining about Dampier's technical no one's gonna give a crap.

All this means is that calls will go the Mavs way tomorrow resulting in a loss for us.

I wish DA would just say, "Like having Dampier in the game would make a difference. I think Cuban is trying to mask that he wasted 80 million on this scrub"

[ESPN] Dampier: "Is he (Landry) tough?"

I know this is an article about Dampier but it talks about the incident that happened last time. I don't know if it should be in this forum but I put it here anyways. But the most important info is this:

Does this mean we have to replay a couple mins of that game like that incident that happened with Shaq fouling out?

Landry doesn't talk trash like Dampier. He goes out and does his job.
Strange that Dampier isn't calling himself the 2nd best center in the league these days.
