So Lubbock is finally wet- no more driving out 15 miles to buy beer- whoo!! And I got to thinking, in light of this momentous occasion, what is the best beer I've ever had? What is the best beer of all time? I would have to say, Spaten, on tap. And, for a popular beer by the bottle, Heineken. But, for a weird choice, by the bottle, it would be this beer called Banana Bread Beer- that stuff is fricking delicious! So, overall, Spaten is my choice for the best beer of all time.
I could never pick the "Best Beer of all Time", but I discovered this beer over the summer. Pretty damn good!
The only beer I can drink almost any time of the year is a good Amber. Otherwise my "best beer" is completely situational.
if im in texas If im on the east coast and Heneken is the gold standard if im just casually drinking.
There are some other really good beers I've had that cost over $15 a bottle, and a really good cheap mini-keg that I can't remember the name of, but Hobgoblin is probably my favorite six pack.
Ditto, Heineken is a decent beer but hardly what I'd call the best around. I love tons of different beers and what I like varies on my mood but Heineken is rarely something I ever crave.
Heineken is good when compared to the Coors/Miller/Bud domestics, but there are some Sam Adams and numerous imports that make it forgettable.
Well, what I meant was beer that is readily available at multiple locations- Spaten is my favorite but you're not going to pick it up at a Town & Country. For those places, Heineken is my personal fave. But overall, s-p-a-t-e-n.
seriously. my go-to belgian (style) beer is la fin du monde - love that stuff. my favorite daily drinkers would be mirror pond, lawnmower, fireman's 4, and good ol' miller lite. i recently had an anderson valley amber (i think) that i enjoyed very much.
