For a white guy, it's not mutally exclusive to be a thug and stupid redneck. When UVA's Brad Butler sucker chopped Kiwi in the knees, I believe he was hammered for being a thug. As was that Ohio St. LB who choked Sorgi, he was called a thug and other names. However, Miami players are branded as thugs regardless.
Looking at Vick's past I think it is safe to call him a thug. Whether he was white, black, asian, whatever he would be considered a thug in my book. the guy has no respect for anyone and willing to do classless crap like that at the drop of a hat. The real question is if his name wasn't Vick, would he be starting QB?
I don't think I've heard of a white football player robbing people, committing statutory rape or doing thuggish things recently.
I watched that clip a few times, and it's definately on purpose. Looks like something a spoiled, pompass punk would do. I wouldn't give him the station of 'thug'.

It took me five minutes to find out out the rap sheets of white football players like Jake Plummer, Mark Chmura, Barret Robbins, Justin Strzelczyk, Bill Romanowski, Mark Gastineau, Jim Dunaway, Sebastian Janikowski, Christian and Jason Peter, Lance Rentzel and Randy Woodfield. Is rape, murder, sexual abuse and assualt "thuggish" enough for you? Is Maurice Clarrett a "thug" and Jeff Reardon just "disturbed?" Help me out here, OldManBernie.
