His cross over was pretty nice earlier on Evans.

What were the other 3 Nets doing, that are actually behind Lopez the entire time and just watched Smith go to the rim? That wasn't Lopez' fault at all, it was his teammates that were shameful.

This highlight is more about the defense than anything.

Josh Smith might be a better PG than their PG, honestly. He is very capable of running the break.

WOW!!! Oh by the way Smith was 5/15 for 12 points and 4 turnovers...

Tonight the Hawks and Nets played again and Smith was suspended by the Hawks so he didn't play.

Exactly what I was thinking. That was obvious. Should have been three points.

Clutch, filthy doesn't begin to describe that. Too bad the refs missed a very obvious and-1 call.

love when a guy slams without using the off arm at ALL. Makes this one all the more impressive than some others that might look better but involve someone holding the defender off with a straight arm or a forearm

    I know you're joking, but I'll play along :)

Just my two cents: There's no doubt that Josh Smith would be an upgrade, and make the Rockets more exciting to boot, but, assuming you don't have to give up Parsons or Asik (a best case scenario for such a trade), is Harden, Lin, Parsons, Smith and Asik a future championship contender?

I don't think so... but the truth is, in such a best case scenario, you'd be giving up your youth with upside (Jones, Motiejunas types) and sacrificing picks (first rounder gone to ATL anyway this year if you make the playoffs, and that's not including any other picks you have to include) and your cap room to keep Smith beyond this year.

Morey knows best... but personally, I prefer to wait until this summer to see if something shakes out elsewhere.

One thing I will add though is that the real benefit of having Josh Smith on your team was the potential lure to Dwight Howard, and I do know that Morey still plans to make a pitch to Dwight. But I'd leave it to BimaThug to tell us how that is even remotely possible to get both.

Most guys want to just block the ball forcefully when all you have to do is keep your hand up and disrupt it just a bit.

    Still a sick dunk.
