Moe's Draft Grades

Roster/Lineup:
  • 12 active players per roster
  • 1 IR spot for an injured player
  • 5 starters (C/PF/SF/SG/PG) and 3 flex players per game

Weekly Lineup Deadline:
  • Monday @ 6pm CST

Schedule:
  • 20 week regular season.

Playoff Schedule:
  • 2 divisions. 6 teams make the playoffs (2 division winners + 4 wildcards). Division winners get a first round bye in the playoffs.

Article looks like it was published in July. Some legitimacy to it, but the reality is that Millsap is the best player and he's been getting the start in the pre-season. I don't see how the Jazz could bench the 8th most productive player in the league. If they do, he'll get his minutes anyway, but I just don't see it. Favors hasn't really done anything to earn the job this year in the pre-season either.

While I do see why they may want to consider starting Favors, potential and all, there's really been no evidence statistically or on the court to make such a move. NBA TV thought it would be ludicrous to start Favors, and I agree. It is possible, but I see it as unlikely.
