I see this with all my friends that are over 30. So true.

She's a catch. And you will never catch someone like her. bet me.

Not that I agree with the "whore" comment, but...
I know plenty of girls that are whores that make 6 figures in professional careers. And by whore, Im not talking about someone who walks the street giving BJs for $100. Im talking about girls that have cheated on their significant others or girls that have one night stands constantly.
There are so many of them out there, you'd be surprised.

no there aren't. Go ahead and criticize me, Art and Natasha for being devote Catholics. We don't cheat in our world. I guess you do.
and by the way...the Four Horsemen have Awakened....for 2012. Notre Dame will save us all from the Zombie Apocalypse...rally around the Irish.
Ye shall be saved.

I hope they have a long and happy marriage. Seems kind of fast from the outside but that's one of the problems with being "on the outside."

I work with this woman and HP is spot on. She is an awesome person who had to cope with tragic circumstances. Some of you are real jerks online.

First of all, RIP to your friend. It's a tragic loss so young and I would probably be incredibly devastated if I lost one of my best friends. I am sure he was a great guy.
Now my opinion on the girl is mixed. I couldn’t picture myself in her shoes because I can never be in her situation. So I sympathize because it had to be hard to deal with.
But really, 3 months? 3 freaking months after you lost your husband to cancer? It just does not add up in my mind. I asked some coworkers around here and all their responses were, she cheated on him.
And OP, not to be harsh, but I think you are secretly in love with your friend. I just don’t think you have come to terms and accepted that. Granted, this is only based on what I read here so my opinions are irrelevant.
RIP to your friend though.

Girls who make a decent amount of money are far more likely to cheat or be promiscuous, especially in a corporate setting. These girls operate on logic in a hierarchy and naturally submit to guys who intellectually dominate them and have an ounce of charisma. Plus, they're surrounded by nerds like DonnyMost or fairies like Heypartner all the time who devote all their energy to playing the petty corporate politics game or making lame comments they're forced to listen to under the pretense of "teamwork".
It's nauseating.
Money gives you time, independence and the confidence to justify (important to girls) your own decisions. None of these girls are bombshells in the feminine or talented sense, so being validated by a guy who makes their knees weak and the media promotes makes them lose control. The loveable teddy bear of a husband is quickly pushed to the side, and they're ready to work out years of pent up frustration with yours truly, the Honey badger.
Making six figures has no positive correlation to your moral boundaries or need to stay faithful. That's the dumbest thing I've heard.

The only thing I could say, trying to put myself in her situation, but I would think I would be too depressed/sad/devastated over just losing the person I love to even FATHOM dating someone else let alone marry them.
So, my THEORY is that she may have had love for her ex-husband and may have even been faithful in the "didn't sleep with another person" kind of way, and was a damn good person/woman to stand by his side through the tragedy. But, I don't believe she was TRULY IN-LOVE with him. I'm not knocking or judging her but I just don't think you can just turn around and be with/date and marry another if she was. Seems a little disrespectful to her ex to me as well for moving on so fast. But, that's not knowing all the details. Just my observation.

High class whores make 6 figures too, or even 7 figures (Kim Kardashian). Even if you're a regular whore, you still make enough for it to be your only job. So it's not a bad profession.

You are back on your "A" game and yes, women that have some sway in the corporate world are just like their male counters; they have more opportunities to cheap and as a result are more likely to partake.
This "woman" most likely was sampling prior to her husband's illness and used her husband's ailment as an opportunity to excuse her sexual indiscretions.
The larger issue is why the OP has serious white knight fantasies. His posting history demonstrates a "condition" that will keep him from fruitful relationships with women. I suspect he views himself to be closer to the women in his life than they do, and his presence is merely tolerated as a bizarre nuisance.

So if they got married 12 weeks after her husband's death, how soon did they start dating? Like 4-6 weeks after his death or earlier?

Bro. Come on. She makes six figures. Time and money are no objects to her. You wouldn't understand.

Baby relax, sit back and chill
Gimme a second and lemme tell you how i feel
Cuz allaround town you've been steppin out
Runnin your mouth, about
How your hookup with the Honey B went south
When the lights came on
You turned around and saw I was gone
But I told you the game I play
Aint got time to waste today
A true mack daddy in each and every way
Extraordinary
The word that defines, Ronny
Got juice, like a strawberry
You tasted it, dont lie
Later we got, a bit high
Pa pa pa panggg
Maybe my love was just too good
Maybe my moves, were a bit too rude
Now that the love is gone
You got a new man but you cant move on
Does he lace you with the finer things?
Does he make ya wanna scream his name?
Does he hit it from the front to back?
Did you let him break it down like that?
