Sooners just got hosed. Blake Bell runs in a keeper which should have tied the game after the PAT, but it was called back because of holding. The problem is that the flag came out well after the play was over. Oklahoma was pretty much done celebrating before the flag came out.

Can't wait for LSU game next week. All of Bama's games have just been blowouts.

Time for Landry Jones to throw an INT to cement his legacy of clutchness.

I called it!!! I called it!!!

One player later and it happens (even though it wasn't Jones' fault).

Thought ou was gonna win easily, but glad they didn't. I like rooting for the underdog. Even in games where I really dont care who wins. Good game.

Alabama, K-State, Oregon, and Notre Dame are all pretty deserving of a national title game chance. This will be interesting if all stay undefeated (and all will be favored pretty heavily in every game going forward).

If they all stay undefeated it'd just be another one of those weird, BS, pee-pee game shared title years.

Mike Riley cost his team a chance to stay undefeated hoarding timeouts for some unknown reason and the play-calling at the end made no sense once they got near FG range.

Oregon will pass Notre Dame if they both win out. Any experts here care to comment on their chances of catching Kansas State?

In my opinion, Oregon is the only team with a real shot to beat Alabama in the BCS Championship game.

Agreed. Bama would take care of Kansas State and Notre Dame pretty easily. I'm most worried about Oregon.

Also, Bama's schedule gets tougher now. LSU, then A&M, then most likely Georgia in the SEC Championship game. If they win out, then there's not doubt that they'll be in the BCS Championship game.

This would of been a great year to start the 4 team playoff system. Oh Well...

Just because what Oregon runs is different won't make it tougher for Bama to stop. Oregon is not talented enough to get away with that offense against NFL caliber defenders and a Saban team with all of that time to prepare.

At least ND and KSU can hit them in the mouth a little. It worked for Utah a few years back.

I actually don't think any of those teams can ultimately hang with Bama.

I agree for the most part with everything you just said.

In order of which team would give Alabama the most trouble
1 KState- Snyder is a living legend and would ugly up this game. Could turn into an absolute puntfest.
2 Notre Dame- Would probably try and do the same thing, but with better talent but lesser coaching. I don't trust them to not give the game away with turnovers, however.
3 Oregon- I don't think this would even be a game IMHO. This offense just doesn't seem to work against disciplined, talented D's and Alabama's is just that. D-line would be wore down by the 2nd quarter trying to stop Alabama's run. Would get ugly.

All this is pure speculation on my part, but I'd be interested in hearing an argument against it.

Also important to note that Oregon hasn't played anyone.

One thing to note about Oregon is that they have a great defense this year to go with the crazy offense. They are crushing people defensively in the first half of games this year before letting up. The last two weeks, they were up 42-0 and 56-0 in the first half of games against AZ State (5-1 at the time) and Colorado (terrible).

But perhaps their most impressive performance is against Rich Rod's Arizona team. Arizona is scoring 40 pts a game and lost to Oregon 49-0.

That said, I think ND and K-State have the best chance of making it a 9-6 type game, and I think that's the best way to beat Alabama. On the flipside, Alabama hasn't played anyone yet this year either - LSU will be an good test of Alabama's offense and A&M will be a good test of its defense.
