Just wanted to make a list of significant FIRSTS... which are happening at a rapid pace this season:
First time starting season 5-0 (MIA, JAX, DEN, TEN, NYJ)
First time beating the New York Jets (23-17 @ NYJ MetLife Stadium)
First time winning a road game on Monday Night (23-17 @ NYJ MetLife Stadium)
First time on Sunday Night Football (L vs. GBP 24-42 10/14 @ Reliant)
First time beating the Baltimore Ravens (vs. BAL 43-13 10/21 @ Reliant)
Any others? There could be more I'm missing. I'd like to revisit this thread through the season.

You sort of already covered it, but the Texans were the first Houston team EVER to start better than 3-0.
Also, first time to beat Peyton Manning when he was playing at home.

I don't understand why everyone is saying it's our first time on Sunday Night Football. The first game in our history was on SNF, and I believe without checking, we've played GB at home and Seattle on the road on SNF.
Maybe first time on NBC's version of SNF?

Cougars did it. Gamblers did it. Rockets did it.

Yeah, I guess you can argue and win that argument, ima. Wasn't it called "Pigskin Football" back then on ESPN?

Not to take away from actually beating a good quarterback that is PM, but... I hate saying we beat "one guy"... when it's a fact that our TEAM plays their TEAM. I don't want to single out a significant opponent, but I can't stand when the media keeps records of ONE player instead of the entire team.

We haven't allowed a rushing TD have we? I assumed not but no one seems to be talking about it anywhere... I imagine that's a first for us this far into a season.

jeez... semantics.
First Houston NFL team ever to start better than 3-0.
If (when) they win the division this year, they will be the first Houston NFL team to ever win back to back divisions.
I still find it comical that it took the Oilers 25 years to win the AFC central... clearly the Texans have that rate beat.

I see that I as well as you have been on that stat throughout the season and I was afraid we might have allowed one to Rice yesterday, but... alas, it's not a "FIRST" for us.
Maybe "FIRST TIME this far into the season without a rushing touchdown?"
