Sounds like desperation to me. Are the Ravens panicking?

my main concern is jjo..

kubes said he didn't practice; if he's not practicing, then how can we move forward with him starting?

i'm uncertain about that going into next week...

i hope boldin/smith won't burn us..

It's crazy that Suggs might play Sunday. It's good news for the Texans if he does. I say run it right at him. Throw it in the flat to make him cover. Go no huddle to wear him out. There's no way he's in football shape and maybe he'll pop a hammy.

Has anybody heard anything on how Jean is coming along with his knee?

It seemed like evertime he touched the ball it was for a big gain.

Since the beginning of the 2011 season Matt Schaub has started 16 games. The Texans are 12-4 in those games. Pretty darn good record if you ask me.

Sunday's game will be Andre Johnson's 129th, making him the most games played in franchise history.

Game Release

Flip Card

Injury Report (updated Thursday and Friday after practice)

Uniform: Red jersey, white pants ***Battle Red Day***

TV Distribution Map (Texans game in red)

Win Probability Graph (will be live shortly after kickoff)

Go Texans!

Where did you see that?? All indications were that he was going to take yesterday and today off from practice to rest the groin, and then be ready to go on Sunday since it's the bye week after that anyways.

reed and barwin i'm talking to you, please step up and help out watt and smith. if you both step up and rattle flacco then smith, boldin, and jones will not be an issue.

I just can't believe the Ravens would jeopardize Suggs by letting him play early. Him wanting to play is one thing; the team allowing him to is another. He is overweight and not in football shape right now. They are asking for him to get injured again if he plays. Texans would focus towards him and just keep attacking.

they won't. I think this is just Suggs boasting.

I know it's early and I don't agree with it whatever, but their thinking could be bigger reg. season game than usual, win here, and they can be the AFC top dog, if Texans win they retain that mindset with neg. thoughts for the Ravens....momentum thing I guess.

My hope is Texans get back to beating ppl by 20, then we will all feel better going forward

I really don't think there is any way Suggs plays this weekend. However, if the Ravens play up the fact that he MIGHT play on Sunday, then the Texans have to game plan for him, which means they have to take time scheming for him. It's just pee-pee games (Hi Ziggy) by the Ravens.

Anybody have any thoughts on how the Texans are gonna handle the no-huddle offense that Baltimore is sporting these days?? It seems like they like to take advantage of linebackers getting fatigued, so they work Ray Rice and Dennis Pitta across the middle of the field to the sidelines. With Cushing being out, Rice has the ability to have a monster game in the passing attack.....especially if they throw some twists in that no-huddle. I just don't think Bradie James is equipped to stop that.

Again, for the seemingly millionth time in this thread, Barwin and Reed are going to HAVE to wreak some havoc on Flacco. Otherwise that's really going to open up things for Boldin and Smith down field if the safeties are constantly having to help out the linebackers with Rice.

If I'm the Ravens, I do NOT play Suggs on Sunday. You need him for the playoffs.

From what I've heard they don't go to the no huddle that much on the road because of noise and especially in Reliant i'm not sure how effective it would be. Even if they did "no huddle", with the noise, the players would basically have to come together anyways.

But, with all that said, I would expect them to at least play up tempo. Ray Rice against a tired and Cushingless LB crew is scary.
