I love that I was the first person to predict that we would draft Watt (according to the 2011 Texans Draft thread). Although I said we"d take him much later. In a post a couple pages later, I talked about his non-stop motor and relentlessness.

I've heard the franchise tag referenced to him a few time already. I don't see how anyone can expect that it even get to that point with him. I don't see how he won't be locked up long before he becomes a FA

If Mario is getting 17 million per season what does Watt get if he keeps this up? $20 million? That's QB territory.

I have little doubt that the Texans will sign him to a large contract, but it's going to really kill the Texans cap.

I'm done doubting Houston's draft picks! I HATED it when we took Mario (most did) and I hated taking Watt in stead of a CB... I've been dead wrong every time I doubted them!
