Occasionally getting an auto playing ad about creativity and Hennepin Tech. Seems to crop up in various forums. I just noticed this late this afternoon.

I keep on getting the same ad to. I figure this is geared by the ad placement agency tracking MN IP addresses and am guessing others are getting other auto playing ads in other regions.

Its not like Clutch asks AdSense to give us auto play ads, they show up in the ad rotation from time to time.

Just post here when they show so he knows.

Apparently these auto playing ads come in all languages, depending on where you are. Interesting. They don't discriminate.

For what it's worth, this is still occurring. For those who advocate muting the volume at work, it's hard to do if you want to listen to music or something else.

I'll usually have one ear plugged to an ear phone if I want to listen to something. Never really have the volume on otherwise. At all the places I've worked at, the common practice is to always have your machine on mute.

I use ear plugs, but when the auto playing ad starts it trumps the music and is quite annoying.
