I can't understand why Mayweather would be scared of Manny considering the dominate performance Floyd had against Marquez and (sorry POFs) Paq has lost more than one fight against him including the last one. I know match ups make fights, but that is a telling comparison IMO. I also don't believe Floyd would have made the comment 'what am I going to if I lose - you are a congressman'.

However after Paq's comments in the video if the fight isn't made after Paq fights Marquez (assuming Paq wins) then it's on Mayweather. Up to this point I think it's been a mix of both camps particularly Arum not wanting the fight.

Once he learns english, watch out. But right at this moment, there's still only two superstars in boxing.
Pretty much everybody in latin america knoews canelo. He is a HUGE draw in a significant section of the viewing public and that's why showtime was willing to go head to head with Julio jr.

I don't know anybody that can beat Canelo right now.

Lara would beat him like he stole something. He turned that fight down for a reason

Pac doesn't control himself like Floyd does. He has to answer to Koncz and Arum (who screwed him out of money). Floyd answers to Floyd and his probation officer. Anything Manny says is lip service.

Lara has never been in the ring with a guy like Canelo who brings the kind of punching power and speed. Lara is a seasoned boxer, but does he have the chin to stand toe to toe with a pressure fighter who can land one blow and have you reeling.

I just don't see it. And, by the way, my favorite fighters are slick boxers: Yuri Foreman (when he was still fighting and not shot), Abner Mares, Anselmo Moreno (what a great fight this is going to be, can't wait!) dmitry pirog, Timothy Bradley, Jr.

However, with Lara, I don't see the kind of ring generalship that gets me excited by what he does in the ring, like these other guys I mentioned. Lara seems to me like he does a lot of coasting in fights, rather than commanding the ring.

ESPN and Top Stank hate Mayweather...

no suprise they lash out at Floyd even SAS( who like i said is paid by the elites) is talking Floyd down.

Its obvious whats going on in this situation, but of course the "Mayweather is scared" excuse keeps coming up lol smh

JMM and many other boxers have picked Floyd too win since 2009, even the betting odds wouldnt bet againist Mayweather

Pacquaio is the first and only legend that was robbed of his belt by a fighter, and didnt try and exact revenge on him... he does what Arum tells him

Arum told him to say that stuff on ESPN... Pacquaio always mentions Mayweathers name when he is about to fight, to help promote his fight

Mayweather is 100% right, when he says Pacquaio made his name of the Mayweather brand.

I do think that Pacquaio is good guy( with a lot of demons in his closet, that the media wont ever talk about). But he is the "hero" in this situation, and Mayweather is the "villan", so he will win out the majority of the public.

Lara has a good chin and it rarely gets touched because of his great defense and the fact he's a counter puncher. He'd pick Saul apart from the outside. Canelo doesn't move his head and his terrible cardio would kill him in the championship rounds. He's a fun fighter to watch but isn't an elite fighter in terms of skill.

Interesting list. I can't stand Foreman (never could), really like Mares and Pirog (although it appears Pirog doesn't care much about fighting anymore unfortunately) and Moreno is somewhat of an unkown (his fight with Mares will tell us a lot). Bradley is a solid but unspectacular fighter.

That was a fair criticism of Lara up until after the Molina fight. That was his wake up call. He did coast a lot due to his superior skill. That happens with a lot of kids with extensive amateur backgrounds.

He'll beat Vanes easily and Canelo will hand him the belt rather then fight him. Nobody at 54 wants any part of Lara.

Floyd was dominant in his last fight against his girlfriend.

Its useless to compare how they compare other fighters. By the same token you can argue pacman dominated delahoya, and knocked out mosley, hatton, and cotto while mayweather didnt.

Also floyd has been on the record saying several times what if i lose from his own mouth and how fighting pacquiao is bad for his health

HORRIBLE title for thread and video. It should be focused more on Pacquiao saying he's fine with taking less of the split. One of the big reasons why this fight has yet to happen.

If you watched the video, which you didn't, you would have saw that Stephen A isn't talking down on him at all. Even said Floyd was still "his boy". Also stood his ground and said he still believes Floyd would give Manny a "boxing lesson". And mentioned that he still thought Marquez won the last fight.

Anyways all Screamin said he will no longer argue with people about this situation and that if this fight doesn't happen this time, after what Manny just said, then he thinks Floyd is ducking Manny. I didn't think he was talking down at all.

Quote:

But that has nothing to do with this. This is about getting the fight done. Most people just want to see it happen for the sake of it. We'll get to who kills who when the fight is actually signed. Plus it's no secret tht Floyd would likely be the favorite. But at least those Pacquioa fans want the fight to happen. They could care less about the result. It seems like a floyd fans don't even want it to happen. I believe Floyd wants the fight more than his fans do LOL

Quote:

I'm sorry but this was too funny. That's pure fact right? You know that holds as much merit as when people say "Floyd is scared"

Quote:

Yea, because Pacquiao is a master of the English language. He just name drops Floyd every time to show his promoting skills. It's has nothing to do with the reporters asking Manny about Floyd.

Quote:

Are you fucking serious? Floyd created the bad guy image himself. He's thrives off it. That's the reason he is who he is. He wouldn't be the salesman he is today if he was a "good guy". If Floyd was a good guy, he'd be Andre Ward. All the skills in the world, but nobody outside if your hometown gives a crap about you and he wouldn't be selling 1M PPVs. Floyd has said himself he loves being the bad guy.

And I'm assuming you are talking about Manny cheating on his wife or his tax problems? Both not near the level of battery charges against your wife. Trust me, if Manny went to jail for allegedly beating his wife, the media would be all over it.

Floyd fans are funny. They all believe Manny needs steroids to beat old, shot, weight drained and overrated fighters. First it was "TAKE THE TEST!". Manny says he has no problem with it. Then it was "BUT BUT BUT MANNY DOESN'T DESERVE 50/50 SPLIT!!!" ok so Manny goes on record saying he'll take the smaller split. "HE DOESN'T REALLY MEAN IT!!! (but they believe everything that comes out against pacq) ARUM TOLD HIM TO SAY IT!!" Lol like Arum is the only shady promoter in boxing. NEWSFLASH all boxing promoters are snakes!

I'll say it again, Floyd fans and Manny fans are the worst. It takes two to dance, all parties involved share the blame here. For the record, I do believe Floyd wants the fight, it's his fans that are the ones that are scared.
