Check out the events to be held down here in the RGV. This will be the first time the Rockets will be down here for an extended Pre Season Camp. The first two years down here the team was only here for 2 days of camp and then a pre-season game.

This is why Rockets cannot land stars. They should have training camp somewhere nice.

Really, when the Rockets won a Chip the camp was held in Galveston. Some in Austin. You need to visit down here and head on over to South Padre Island then let me know what you really think about the RGV.

Really? I think there is too much uncertainty with our direction to land a star. If we get a building piece, things will certainly change. Houston is one of those cities that has to draft their center piece.

Thanks 4 the info! I live in the RGV & will try to go. Unfortunately, this is Spurts & Cowboys country. I don't often see folks wearing ROXS jerseys or shirts.

Not if they keep stopping off in RGV. They start hosting some training camps in Dallas... then maybe.. we can start talking about the Dwight Howards and D-Will's of the world.
