Division games are usually tough. This one won't be.

Texans 42
Jags 6

Jacksonville allowed 4.9 yds to the vikings in the running game, to an injured AP.

Imaging a healthy Foster can do to them.

If the texans contain MJD, Jags doesnt have a chance.

My prediction: Texans 24-16

The tarps are pretty beat up this early in the season and couldn't even beat a turrible Vikings team.

Texans 27
Jaguars 13

JJ Watt appeared on NBC Sports Network today. You can watch his interview here:

http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/228251...95827#48995827

Watt will also appear on NFL AM tomorrow morning on NFL Network. I believe he will be on at 6:40am CT. If you miss it that early they repeat the show from 9am 'til 1pm, so he would be on again at 10:40am. They will probably have a video of the interview on nfl.com/videos shortly after it's aired.

Watt has become the face of the franchise. Seems like he's always doing interviews while the other Texans hardly do any.

Jacksonville currently has a very depleted offensive line. They will be no match for the Texans defensive line. Their defense will be tough, but the Texans will at least cover.

He comes second to Arian. I always see Arian Foster being featured on commercials.

JJ definitely tows the company line, but I was surprised he said they would not miss Mario Williams (at least a little) on the field... I also wonder if it irks Kubes that he name checks Phillips a couple times and not him.

Kubes should instantly dismiss anything that irks him about Wade because he has an owner that was more patient with him than most would have been, he's finally winning now, and he's being paid as a top tier head coach.

In all honesty I don't think Kubes is the kind of guy at all who would be annoyed with that. He's most certainly not a power driven head coach.

Yarp - you are probably right, amigo... Dude has to delegate and let his coaches take some glory. There are quite a few leaders/coaches who can't do that.

Texans are really really good and the jags are the same as the fins, will be another 33-10 win bare minimum. You guys really need to give the home team more credit. I know we sucked for 9 years but don't let that cloud your judgment. The offense played about as bad as they could in terms of moving the chains yet we still beat a bad team by 20 and put up 33. That's what the pats, packers, and NO have done for the last 3 years and know the texans have joined thats class. That's not homer talk this team just has too much talent everywhere on the field to not be a 12 win team and contend for the afc.

Texans 38
Jags 14

Matt Schaub needs one TD pass to reach 100 for his career.

Arian Foster needs 20 rushing yards to become the all-time franchise leader.

Andre Johnson needs 225 receiving yards to reach 10,000 yards in his career.

Just watched last weeks defensive snaps. Our D-line was dominating while rushing the passer. Teams are going to have to get the ball out really quick against us. 3 step drops were the only thing saving Tannehill.

This thread is messed up. It seems like most posters don't want to be overconfident and jinx the team or something. But the truth is, if the Texans really are suppose to be SB contenders, then they should crush Jacksonville regardless of circumstances. A nailbiter against the Jags would probably indicate that the team is not quite elite just yet.
