There's another forum I visit that also runs vBulletin that has a handy "View First Unread" button just to the left of the Thread Tools drop down menu. You click on it takes you to the first post made since you last viewed the thread. Very helpful for threads that balloon to multiple pages.
With the way the BBS is now, if you open a thread, the new posts have a yellow/gold icon next to them. But if you click "last page" and it's full of new posts and you realize that there are also new posts on the previous pages, if you click to go to one of those previous pages, the yellow icon disappears. If 4 or 5 pages have filled up since the last time you looked at the thread, it's hard to find where you left off. So I was just wondering if adding a "View First Unread" option would be possible. __________________ Since the Texans have entered the league, they have twice as many playoff victories as the Dallas Cowboys. |
