Here's the official press announcement from Dana.

My favorite quote was Dana's opinion on Jackson: "This guy is a fu*king sport killer." Spot on.

Dana also notes that Jones outright refused to fight ANYONE. (15:30ish) Horrible.

Jones vs. Belfort to Headline UFC 152 After Lyoto Machida Turns Down Title Shot

Good move for Lyoto. He got smashed the first fight so it's better to train thoroughly for the next (I'm guessing Shogun or Hendo here). Berserker Belfort would be an interesting matchup for Bones (Just Duck It).

They are nothing alike at this stage in their careers. Hendo is a puncher now. He hangs around waiting to land one big punch and then he tries to finish. Chael is not a strike he's a wrestler. His takedowns and top control are better than Henderson by far.

I'm not saying Chael is better than Hendo by the way, I'm saying they are nothing alike,.

Chael has one severe weakness, submission defense. He has the best wrestling in his division and dominated the best MMA fighter ever for 4 and a half rounds in their 1st go around. He then won the 1st round of their second matchup before making a major mistake and losing.

Chael isn't the best fighter. He has one elite skill (wrestling) but gatekeepers don't beat Marquardt, Stann, Bisping, Okami and then dominate Silva. He's a very good fighter. He's similar to Fitch in my opinion. He's good enough to be one of the best in his division but he's just never going to have the belt.

He is roider. Dude should not be even allowed to fight the fact that he is makes the mma look bad.

Find the quotes I made that make me the ultimate Jones apologist. I just found it funny how people began hating on him more once he got to the top.

I have nothing positive to say about this. He should have accepted the fight. I see no solid reason not to accept it especially when Chael is good to go on short notice. Not the greatest decision by Bones.

Dan Henderson uses TRT just like Chael. Frank Mir does too.

I am personally against the use of TRT but it's actually not cheating right now and Dana White is personally in favor of it.

First Jones said he's the type of guy that won't get a DUI and 2 years later he does exactly that. Then he talks a bunch of **** to Chael and when it's time to step up he turns into a coward against a guy that fights in a weight class below him thus screwing over the company, fans, fighters and camps.

Like I said, Jones is Fake. If you're gonna be an asshole then be an asshole like Rampage and let it be known. If you're going to be a straight edge Jesus freak like Bendo that's cool too. I don't think it's fair to call it ducking or cowardly to avoid a fighter with an 8 day window. It is rare for big time fighters to want a fight like that. Remember how much run Chris Leben got for taking a fight on such short notice?

Sonnen is a completely different fighter than anyone Jones has faced or was preparing to face at LHW. He's a ruthless bull rushing wrestler. Of course Jones would want a training camp to prepare for that style. It is nothing even close to similar to Henderson's fighting style.

There's this thing called, video tape??? I'm pretty sure it doesn't take 8 days to view tape and being an mma fighter, you are trained to fight all kinds of styles.. No excuses, this is the big leagues now, if you're not prepared then get the fock away from the sports!!!!!

Granted one person's ducking could be another person's smart in terms of taking the time to prepare to fight that opponent and study that opponent's style.

(I still think he should have taken the fight).
