Anyone see any similarities in the circumstances and possible results?

Which similarities are you talking about?

I don't think Luck came from Purdue.

Only is Manning played WITH Luck like Duncan did with Robinson.

The Spurs didn't blow up the team after they tanked but the Colts did.

Not sure that people would be as surprised if Luck becomes a Superstar. Duncan turned out to be way better than most people thought he would be.

A tad supposedly Drob could have played late in that season but didn't same with Peyton. But that's about it.

Yeah, but the Colts have really hurt their reputation by tanking for Luck. Now, no free agent will want to sign with them. Plus, by tanking, they really devalued their roster. Bad, Colts, very bad. The Rockets' way is so much better,

Let's wait until Luck plays some real games before declaring him the next Savior.

Very true but Raven, sarcastically is right. They tanked and now may be set up for yet another decade of dominance.

Three years isn't a very big window to win a Super Bowl and I could honestly see Luck and the Colts posing a legitimate threat to the Texans after they build up their defense and o-line in the 2013 draft.

I dont see they how they are going to be a legitimate threat, it will take more than one draft to do that. Mathis and Freeney getting old, Wayne getting old, there are still a lot of holes in that team.

Tim looks like a gorilla, Luck looks like a troll.

I'm confused.
