You still accept those less evolved laws as the best option. It also seems like you are intelligent enough to consciously manipulate them, and the herd behavior they bring about when people don't stop and think, to benefit yourself and those you deem fit. It's an assumption, I know, but its absolutely a reasonable assumption to make when based on the posts I've seen from you. The Shepard/Sheep structure is for dealing with the ruminant animals. We are sheep trying to herd sheep. The stratification only works for short periods of time in a society of self aware individuals. The "shepards" try to create a social structure that they cannot maintain control of. Most commonly due to self serving behavior. It's similar to why communism is nothing more than a good idea that does not work in practice. Your "shepards" are no more capable or willing to overcome their primitive instincts than the sheep. Therefore, they will continue to create the low entropy societies, only to lose focus on the bigger picture. Once there is no common goal at the top, then the society created is doomed to race towards and higher entropy state, and collapse. Only to allow another group of shepards to come along and perpetuate the cycle by starting over with the most recent transportation and communication technologies that are most commonly developed by INDIVIDUALS who shepards previously classified as sheep. Similar to the Strauss-Howe generational theory. So, when I say "evolve a little," this is what I meant. We are reaching our limit of expansion on this planet. The shepard/sheep structure will only leading into the buzzsaws that we are racing towards. Humans need an idea that suits a society of self aware individuals, not stratification for TRULY mindless mammals. Of course, those lucky enough to be given a high level of intelligence must first get past their own ego. I hope one day you realize that the unwavering sense of self assuredness you have is the same thing that shackles people indoctrinated into religion. "I'm right, because the illogical leap in faith I've chosen to accept, serves my interests and assures me that I am." This only works against a global acceptance of ideals like altruism, and reason. Stop assuming you know whats best for the "sheep."

But I find the conservatives here are alot more self assured and straight forward in their opinions, without saying things just to "not step on toes" and keep everybody smiling when the ground under them is caving in. Ambiguity is a disadvantage in a political environment. Some of these so called liberals like redredemption rack up millions of posts looking for validation and spattering a plethora of vague points everywhere, hoping one sticks. I'm sure you'll play it off in the name of "humanity", but the truth is it's needy and inefficient. That's an unfocused person more interested in trying to be accepted than standing for something he believes in. It's like giving a 12 year old an AK 47 and telling him to hit a target a mile away. He'll hit it eventually, but it will take him 5-6 rounds and tons of crossfire casualties to fulfill his mission. I prefer trained minds acting as snipers. I'm not against emotions, empathy or taking pleasure from life. I'm against wasting it and falling short of your true potential because you just want some more friends to like your latest profile pic on facebook. Friends tell me my genetic makeup is that of a winner. That of a thinker. And that of someone who's not afraid to take the path less taken to carve out a better future for the world when the masses are stumbling around looking for direction. So fear not, my little friend. I am that man. I am that light at the end of the tunnel of neverending darkness that is the D&D. And you can quote me on that.

It's a lot of existing ideas that I can't take credit for, but should get more attention than they do. I'd be happy to provide more references.

It's not as hopelessly idealistic as some people want to believe either. The internet is helping facilitate these once "radical" ideas naturally. Sites like www.reddit.com are examples that more fundamentally intellectualism based faiths are increasing in younger generations who grow up with the internet. As if it has helped curb the number of individuals who will be indoctrinated into a predominately regional faith. It's real choice for the age groups in their developmental years, and therefore most capable of accepting new ideas. It's a slow process that I hope continues to move in that direction before we set ourselves too far back. We just need to keep facilitating it as much as we can.
