Cops won't give your name once they do an investigation. You have 4 other people that were jumped that can corroborate with your claim to back you up. At worst they'll increase security around the area you were jumped at and they'll have it on their records the next time it happens.

Chances are if they're in a gang they already have previous violations of criminal activity. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them was on parole. And given that assault and theft is a huge felony, it probably wouldn't be difficult for them to piece together a strong case to send them to prison. You can go ahead and get shot though by getting street revenge.
