1. White 2. DMO 3. Lamb are the guys I want to keep.

Dragic
Lamb
White
DMO
Asik

That honestly could be a great lineup in 3 years.

Is it you just think Jones can be more than that and that Parsons has already hit his ceiling?
I was surprised by Parsons last year, as everyone else was. I think he played surpisingly good defense and team defense. I also thought he fit in well with the team and has a great student-of the game attitude. However, I feel like you are looking at what he will be for his career, a similar Battier type defensive-minded glue-guy without the consistent 3 point shot. I respect that and value that type, but more so on a championship team.

For example, a Battier type does us no good on this current Rox team, even the young Battier. At this stage, I would take Rudy Gay over Battier. We need potential all-stars at any position to rebuild. Max upside guys. I see guys like Lamb, Donuts, White and Jones as possessing much more raw talent and physical tools to be dominant on both sides of the floor. Much more upside than Parsons. Parsons easily beat out C-Bud (no defense and tentative) and Morris (deer in headlights) but he will find it more difficult to beat out White and Jones. I think both could displace Parsons this year as a starter.

1. Parsons, need a couple of lengthy wing defenders in a league dominated by Lebron and Durant, underrated all-around game. His shot will improve.

2. A point guard. I don't care between Dragic or Lowry
3. Lamb, has all-star potential.
4. _____________
5._____________
6. White Looks like a sixth-man type, change up/mismatch guy off the bench

Parenthetically speaking, there aren't any untouchables for a youngish star player.

I think Royce White will definitely be a starter his first year. I'm not sure anybody on the team can guard him. He will be the best passer of the bigs the minute he steps on the court. I am also sure he would be the best big at dribble driving to finish at the basket. He's a freight train. McHale loves this guy. Royce White is the prototypical McHale type player. A tough-nosed banger with skills. I'm just not sure where it will be, either at the 3 or 4. But I can say he will not be on the bench.

yea im with you..i dont want to rent DH either..id rather have bynum long term or another option..deep teams usually win championships..we have alot of young promising players..however im in favor of keeping arsons, white, lamb, jones, monti,,resign dragic and camby..thats my handfull to keep..package anyone else for a star..then sign a couple free agents. let the fillers fight for a spot. my idea of a smart move to build solid team and keep a few options for down the road if need be..

Just don't trade DMo, Lamb or White.

The rest can go, although i'm pretty fond of Parsons and don't know enough about Jones and Leuer.

I don't think it really matters to McHale. He'll go with the best 5 players and make it work. Most of the forwards are interchangeable. You could see some interesting unconventional lineups like Lamb, Parsons, White, Jones, Donuts at times where White has the ball in his hands and dishes off drives to the paint, or White handling the ball while one of the above is posting up on mismatches, and Lamb roving through screens on a smaller point guard.

White has that skill set like a Rodney McCray, but even better passing, driving, and scoring. That lineup would create many mismatches. Also a good open court lineup. That won't be their main starters, but that lineup is one of many I would like to see with White's unique skill set.
