Well...
all I know is Riley and their management had their plan and executed.....
Morey is still in the process of trying

Fans are fans everywhere, they have something to cheer for

Dude,

Pat Riley is a legendary NBA coach who's taken 3 different teams in different eras to the NBA Finals.

You are comparing him to Morey.

Lol. The Rockets aren't gonna assemble a team as good as what Miami has now. The Rockets are my heart and soul, but the stars aligned perfectly for Miami.

Umm, a lot of teams tried doing that, it was FA bonanza that year. Once again cap management is the key calculated risk. If they struck out like NJ Net's they are screwed.

Why do you think the Knicks gave us the pick and Jordan Hill just to clear salary (T-Mac)?

Everybody wanted to play, one team won.

No, Rockets fans are realistic and knew that wasn't happening. Morey knew it wasn't happening that's why he made an all out push for Bosh.

The Heat winning the title is the best thing that could happen to the NBA, business wise. Villains sell more tickets than heroes, just ask Vince McMahon. The new golden era of the NBA has officially arrived.

This. The Bulls, Lakers, Pistons, etc all played this role well at times over the past 20 years. The big bullies that needed to be dethroned or killed by the small Davids. That mentality gets ratings and sells tickets.

It awhile for Miami to take up the mantle, but not it is theirs.

Great post.

We wanted Bosh . And if we got LeBron, then Morey would be the master of the universe. but that didn't happen.

You just said the star aligned perfectly for them? And yes you need to be lucky to win a championship. Injuries can happen at any moment.

I kept saying it even since last season, there's no reason why they should win the championship. They're a powerhouse, a superteam that can't/shouldn't be stopped.

Seems like everyone has a short term memory of how Lebron took a giant dump on his hometown team. I don't blame him for joining a super team in Miami, because who wouldn't? They don't deserve this championship but the media rides Lebron's jock so much they will continue to crown him as king.
OKC dumped on Seattle so six in one hand and a half dozen in the other. Lebron dominated and won the title. Get over it.
