I heard he was coming to our training camp. He put up sick defensive numbers in college and wasn't drafted. DPOY in his conference.
Very intriguing defender, trying to develop a 3 pt shot (otherwise awful on offense). He's 6' 6.5" without shoes and a 6' 11" reach. Had 11 pts, 5 rebs, 5 steals, 5 blocks in a tournament game last year. Probably a SF/PF tweener. Makes me think of Blakely, another scrub coming to our camp. Maybe Saunders can be a 10 minute bench player to lock down opposing wings? Has anyone seen him play or can provide more insight? |
