How the hell is our offense doing great?? A great offense is one that is able to click at anytime. What was our offense like in the 4th quarter? HORRIBLE. Turnovers. Missed lay-ups. Bad shot selection. That's not a "great" offense.

The irony of this thread is just tooo much.

Here we have yet another bashing Battier thread, who quietly locked down Ariza tonight. Ariza's only points came off steals with breakaways.

So now, either Ariza sucks or Battier played good defense.

2010 version of Shane Battier vs. Carmelo or James?

    No. Just, no.

But But Battier is huge though where it counts. Ask Adelman.

    Start whichever players play defense.

That would be Lee and not Battier.

    Glad your on board. ;)

The team has scored 110, 128, 94, and 99 points. That's pretty good.

If Brooks can't set up the offense down the stretch, that's a separate problem.

    Child, please.

He limited the offensive output of a highly erratic SF he's very familiar with, and a player who's most impressive game of the season consisted of 11 points (season high) on 1-6 from the three-point line against the Bucks.

You've been riding Battier long enough. Open your eyes, and climb off.

I'd be fine with either. Just as long Battier is on the bench.

Battier sucks. I am sorry its true. Offense? Defense? Sucks at both. Done nothing that says Budinger would do worse on defense or Lee. Certainly nothing on offense. ZERO. Nadda. Zilch. Zip. donut hole.

Signed. Although with Taylor in limbo that forces Battier to play with the 2nd unit, which he would be a terrible fit with. But I think Lee's quickness balances out Battier's strength and IQ, as we've seen Battier beaten countless times by quicker players this year. Lee's offense is way better as well.

Seriously, If Lee can play better D, you think our coach doesn't noticed it? I believe our coach knows his players better than we do.

If your complaining about Battiers offense than the team scores a lot of points. If your gonna complain about the fourth quarter than maybe you should watch the game more closely. Battier barely played in the fourth quarter today.

I hate Lee as much as I did Arzia already. He thinks he is Kobe Jr. or something jacking up shots. Now if he would return to his Orlando Magic form and getting his shots from the flow of the offense, then I would be all for it. Playing for the Nets really messed him up or something, cause he's not the same player he was in Orlando where he was a excellent shot up shooter and played good defense. I'm not seeing this at all.
