That hit on Warner will probably make him think a little harder about retiring after they lose this game. It reminded me of this... <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XA7s3pQ1VFI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XA7s3pQ1VFI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>
Agreed, he's a nearly 40 year old quarterback, a stiff push would have been enough to get him out of the play but that's football.

Well, the Saints just showed good sportsmanship there, keeping Warner from going down. This is friggin' football. On top of that, it's playoff football. These guys have some serious adrenaline flowing through their bodies. I don't think there was anything wrong with the way that dude hit Warner (we all agree it was legal so that's not what I'm getting at). The game was far from decided at that point. I think it was a positive play to send a message to the opposing QB.
Then they need to change the rules. If a defensive player has the chance to light up a QB and take him out of the game you do it.
Forgive him, he once claimed Reggie Bush was the best RB in the NFL and the heir apparent to Barry Sanders.
Yup, because I definitely said Reggie Bush would never have good games in his entire career in the NFL. (That's strike three, by the way. Thanks for playing!)
