It looks like Chase is more than enough of a replacement to Von

Lol at "the Olympiacos". It's just Olympiacos. There is no the in front of it. That's not a name of a sports team like NBA teams are named.

an offer at about 1.5 mils per sounds about right for von. good for him he got a lot bigger offer. if iirc, the salaries in eu league is net, i.e. players ain't responsible for income taxes.

Hell yeah $5 mil is as good in a bubble economy as a recession.
A european company offers me a $3.5 mil salary increase, I am taking the red eye flight over.

Europe is a great place for NBA players that aren't good enough to get MLE money in the NBA to get MLE money overseas.

To the preposterous trade guys:
The Rockets can not get LeBron, Duncan, Chris Paul, DHoward, Bosh, Deron Williams, Boozer, Kobe, Ginobili, Gasol, Carmelo, Garnett, Tony Parker, Pierce, Ray Allen, Amare, Steve Nash, Brandon Roy, Amare, Dirk, Joe Johnson or DWade for T-Mac's expiring contract, because he is a triple double threat.

Morey would trade his kidneys for any one of those guys. It's a no-brainer.
