I'm hearing great things about your freshmen running back. Might be a stud. Also, the defense is supposed to be better.

They are beating UAB 56-19 with 7:56 left in the 4th.
UAB supposedly has a good offense, so this would be a pretty good showing. This is without Michael, as they are letting his injury fully heal before they play Arkansas.

UAB lost to Troy last week so I'm thinking that they're not that good. Season starts next week for A&M.

Again all I can look at is stats but ya. UAB put up 200+yds rushing on TAMU already. But Johnson has accounted for 6TDs in 3 quarters. I'm not positive but I am thinking he has yet to throw an INT all year.

It's hard to say due to the competition, but based on what I've seen is that the offense is a lot better this year (2nd year for Jerrod so that is expected with a lot more talent around him). O-Line is still the big weakness. Defense looks to be better, but is still going to be very vulnerable to good offensive teams.
I still see us going about 6-6 for the year, but I think we'll be in some games that some might not expect us to be. We may even shock a team or 2 for a better record
Losing Fuller was a big loss so hopefully he comes back strong late in the season.

Do they run a 3-4?

I heard Carter is playing overseas (Germany) just like Elonu is doing ... Hopefully they can have a successful career for as long as they can doing what many of us would love to do for a living
So what do North Carolina, Memphis, Texas, and Texas A&M have in common?
Answer: The only teams to win an NCAA tourney game the last 4 years
Can't wait for the season to start again! ... Got a big Official Visit from Kyrie Irving during the OK State Football game so hopefully they can make an impression (though I guess he is heavily leaning towards Duke)

Don't know much about Irving but anytime we can snatch a Duke prospect you can count me in as very excited.

dash stepping it up as the starting point guard is the key for the aggies this year. If he starts then they'll move sloan to the 2, have DL at the 4 and BD at the 5. The three is interesting b/c with sloan and dash out there they might go with middleton, the freshman, over DRo since they would need his shooting. If he isn't ready they might put BJ at the 1 who is a very good shooter and have DRo start at the 3. Dash has a very high ceiling though and if he can lead this team then they'll get a lot more easy buckets.

This is easily the most talent we've had on a team, but since they are all so young, it will definitely be interesting.
I think you are right though. If Dash and Khris can step it up, then it is going to be a very good season.

Watched the game last night ... we didn't look bad, but I am definitely worried about this teams ability to shoot the ball from the outside with Sloan, Dash, and Roland on the outside. Hopefully they can pull something together, but the lack of an inside presence is going to be a killer against certain teams. I think we will definitely have some good movement on offenset that is going to get us some good shots though.
