I want to edit and search to make things easier since I do spend a lot of time on this BBS. So if all members are granted that, than I think it would help make the BBS a lot cleaner at least - fewer typos and such....

I'm really curious as to how you pissed Clutch off.

i don't your story, OP, outside of some NewYorker drama but I speak alongside ScriboErgoSum as contributing members who got shutout during high bandwidth and never got the option back. i apologize if i have posted about it here ad nauseum, but at one point I honestly thought it was a glitch and perhaps bringing it to the admins attention would be a benefit. apparently asking questions about your account can only lead to trolls flaming these types of threads.

i believe i have started one single thread in my quest for an admin response, and it certainly isn't to get any attention or status or anything like that. I'm just interested in the search function/edit feature and why I never got it back after peak traffic.

again, that's the only reason why I post about in the Feedback section.

advanced google search ( "search function" "across110thstreet" site:bbs.clutchfans.net ) can only go so far with results.

I found the old thread I started from 15 months ago with no replies in 15 months if I brought it up in any similar thread in Feedback. in the thread I had stated a sent one individual email to each of three admins. I sent a follow up email to Clutch and that was the last contact I made for over a year.

that's what I would like to know as well. If the next post in here were Clutch saying he got the inquiry and wants me to never post about it again, I will certainly get the message and stop asking.

Well I figured it couldn't hurt to suggest "members" get search and edit privileges. I suppose it's not that great of a suggestion since it's probably been thought of before...and I know the admins are pretty busy and probably can't respond to a lot of requests particularly if they get redundant or annoying.

I just know I'd really like to edit my posts and find an easy way to track responses to posts I have made without having to subscribe to threads or something like that.

I noticed that on some BBS's you can see all your recent posts listed and just click there, and then scroll down. That would suffice for me to have that. And edit would be cool since I don't think that would use up bandwidth.

check out the subscribe to thread feature in your User Control Panel. I am under the impression that it is still implemented for all users.

If you click on your member name, do you not have the option to "find all posts by Sweet Lou 4 2"?

There's a setting that turns off email notification. When you browse the forums, there's a blue checkbox on the right side of every topic you've posted/subscribed to.

You can subscribe to threads you post or post in without the board emailing you when there are new replies. It's in your options.

Stop Foreclosure!

If your house payments are more than a month behind, your lender has probably already started foreclosure proceedings. There are programs to help stop home foreclosure in Houston Texas regardless of your situation. With the right help, virtually any foreclosure situation can be successfully resolved to help the homeowner.
