This trade just went down. The commish is on the receiving end of Ariza/Amare.
Complete BS trade. What are your thoughts?

Either the commissioner is a very loyal Rockets fan, or there this trade also has a fantasy football trade stipulation

Depends on rules man. Cumulative? Category based? Seems fair to me.

That trade is as fair as it gets. Stop your whining.

I don't know who wins in that trade. Seems really fair to me.

Foye is in a crowded rotation in Washington, he'll only be a meaningful fantasy player once in every 4-5 games - or if there is injuries.
Ariza/Amare side wins big.

Dwight Howard is by far the best fantasy player in the trade so I say it's close.
I feel like Ariza's numbers will drop some when Mcgrady returns.

Is it really that crowded? I don't think so. It's not like Mike James is getting PT. Also Nick Young will get bumped in favor of Foye as well and Stevenson is garbage. Foye is a combo guard so he sees minutes both at the 1 and 2. Just like how C-but and Mike Miller are combo swingmen who see time at 2 and 3.
Foye will get significant minutes either being the 6th man or as a starter. He's played about 30 mins per game and I expect that trend to continue all year unless there's an injury in which case he'd see even more PT.
Dwight is so much better than Amare that it more than makes up for the marginal better production from Ariza in comparison to Foye.

What makes Dwight so much better than Amare? I agree he is better, but I don't think as much as you make it out to be. Ariza is one of if not THE go to guy in Houston so you know the opportunities will be there for him to produce on a nightly basis. I don't think Foye is even a close comparison with Ariza. He will give you occasional 3's and 12 ppg if even that. Inconsistency will be the problem.

In most leagues Stoudemire is better than Howard.

If that's the case then the trade should be straight up, NOT Amare + Ariza for Howard. That's the issue here.
