I think Amare would work well here. Especially if we can keep AB, but if it takes him in the trade as well, I would probably sign off. We dont have a ton of perimeter fire power, dont think we are in the position to be getting ride of what we do have.

^^^ actually to make things clear, I'm not saying for sure Amare will be traded. But Amare is being actively shopped.

I dont think they want to replace Blake, but rather have him coming off the bench. He played suprisingly well last season. I think they just want a little more talent in the starting spot. I think they just picked up Blakes team option.

This on ESPN's Ric Bucher's twitter:

    http://twitter.com/RicBucher

A guy asked him WTF are the Suns doing (Shaq trade), and he replied:

"Taking apart an expensive team not good enough to make the playoffs. If they have their way, Amare will be gone tomorrow."

Was this article ever posted by Clutch?

And if not (I didnt see it anywhere), what does that mean?

He said hopefully we would still want to read it tonight (meaning Wed evening). Why would we not unless it was a non issue because either:

The Suns had chosen to not make a deal with Amare at all, or at least not with Houston.

Or, that Houston had already completed and announced the deal. He would no longer be a potential Rocket.

And he has #1, which I dont think Clutch would just look over.

It's all speculation. No one knows what's going to happen.

I think Nash is likely to be moved for a younger player. They may end up using the 14th pick after all. I feel Amare is more likely to stay now that Shaq is gone. J-Rich and Barbosa might end up staying as well. I feel that it's unlikely for the Rockets to get Nash.

    Question for Ric Bucher:
Why didn't the Suns just go get Chandler in a 3-way? Or does that make too little "cents" for Sarver....

    Answer:
They have another deal brewing where they would get a Chandleresque player. Stay tuned.

    Could this be Landry?

If they move Nash, they would need a PG (barbosa aint the guy)

We give em Brooks and 23 million for Amare.

    Eh, who knows..

Brooks can run and shoot but will he be able to feed the others?

    Rockets Suns trade rumor!!!!!!!!

I saw someone post this on (Sports Rumor Mill.com)

Heard on FoxSportsNews 790 in Houston that the Rockets and Suns are considering a trade. Someone make me understand this: Suns get Aaron Brooks, Carl Landry, and Tracy McGrady and the Rockets get Leandro Barbosa and Amar'e Stoudemire.

Can anyone confirm this from the area or is this what Clutch could be hinting at?

If the Suns are going for a Chandleresque player, that could be a sign of retaining Amare. This unknown player could be brought in to help Amare defensively. I know Bucher implied that Amare could be gone by tomorrow, but I feel that Nash is more likely to moved than him. Even if Amare is going to be traded,it's going to be hard for the Rockets to get him.
