I know people usually say to draft a rb in first round and I did (Edgerrin James), but I've been offered Manning straight up for James in a league that starts two rbs. My current qbs are Brady and Plummer. My other rbs are Steven Jackson, Lundy and Reuben Droughns. Thoughts?
While fair in principle, this trade really doesn't make sense for your team. You already have good QBs and if you accepted, your RB2 would be very weak.
fadeaway.. that is what I was thinking as well. Brady and Manning seem closer in production than James and the running back I'd have to replace him with.... the only thing about Brady is... how much will the Deion Branch situation be a problem? Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy because I'm planning on turning down Manning for James.
This is my team as it stands in that league: QB T. Brady WR T. Holt WR A. Johnson WR J. Galloway RB E. James RB S. Jackson TE A. Crumpler DEF Baltimore K J. Brown RB R. Droughns RB W. Lundy WR L. Evans WR E. Kennison TE B. Watson QB J. Plummer
Thanks for the help. Here are the settings that probably matter for qb/wr 1 point for every 50 passing yards 6 points for every passing TD -2 for every interception 1 point for every 20 rushing yards 6 points for every rushing TD 1 point for every 20 reception yards 6 points for every reception touchdown 2 points for every 2 point conversion
I got a trade question... Was trading away Reggie Bush + Deuce McAlister for Clinton Portis a good idea? Finally, what are the glaring weaknesses on my squad that I should focus on for waivers or possible trade idea if you see a need. FYI ->Team I traded with accidentally picked up Domanick Davis in an auto-draft so they needed some running back depth which I was glad to give them both the Saints RB's...
