At 7 losses already, there is little hope of landing home court advantage in the West, best case scenario is a rebound to a 7th or 8th seeding and then getting pounded by the Warriors or Spurs.

Might be more profitable to tank now.

Hasn't Bickerstaff been sitting next to McHale the whole time? Been at all the practices? In charge of the defense?

WTF is the point of making him the coach when he's been part of the problem the whole time?

As I posted in another thread, Les does not want to waste his money.

We have never tanked under Morey even when we were rolling out scrubs. 0% chance of tanking with Dwight and Harden.

They made him the "interim" coach. This is basically his tryout for the job. If JB gets this team turned around quickly, he'll probably get a shot at coaching them for the rest of the year. If not, then someone will replace him very soon.

Doesn't JB have to recruit another assistant under him?

I drool at the thought of Thibs putting JVG on his staff. That would absolutely awesome.

Morey and Les are the sources. Keep in mind if we continue to look completely awful this interim thing will change quickly more than likely. I shot is just that a shot.

YES. Finally someone who agrees with me. This is the Spurs formula for pairing Tim Duncan with the Admiral during a year where they could have contended and let Robinson heal(rest) most of the year.

We can do the same by adding Ben Simmons to this group and still have a shot at Durant. This could put us as champs as early as next year.

Right now, were bottom boys for the Warriors or Spurs to pound in the first round. Some might think we can give a pound back, but even power bottoms are bottoms. Bottoms are the only ones that bleed.
