Has anyone ever use this site before? I was looking at tickets to go to the Pistons game and the prices are crazy low. It seen too good to be true so I really need some input on this site.
I mean, it is a Rockets v. Pistons game. I'm sure people are willing to get rid of tickets for that game at a good price, 2 non playoff teams, no real stars, I wouldn't be surprised if you found them for real cheap. PS: Just noticed your moniker....may be time to think about retiring it.
I've sold tickets on stubhub, but never bought. I think they weren't owned by whoever bought them and owns them now (amazon? ebay?) but the process was straightforward and it always worked out for me. Can't imagine that's changed, but it's been a while.
Naw I wish it was a Rockets game. Pistons playing the T-Wolves. And I know both teams pretty much suck but I found some lower level baseline seats for 8 bucks. My moniker
Well I assume your in detroit from the Lions and Pistons, and last time I checked for a Lions ticket (i was plannin on traveling up from Chicago to go see them vs. Bears) and the lower level tickets at Ford Field were ranging from 40-120. Which is ridiculously cheap compared to Chicago rates (our upper levels are in the 200-300s) I think low prices are probably reflective of the crappiness of the teams playing, as well as the economic climate of Detroit. Enjoy it while you can I say. But to answer your question, StubHub has been reliable for me.
It was acquired by ebay in 2007 for about $ 300 million. Last year, tickets well worth more than $ 1 billion in total were traded on that site.
