How many people hate to shave? I have such sensitive skin that my face can only stand every other day - which means Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Other than those days, no shaving for me unless it is a date, funerals (had several of those recently), weddings, etc. Right now I look like I hadn't shaved at all today despite shaving this morning around 6. And just think, I was like many boys in puberty who could not WAIT to have to shave. That signified that you had become a man. Little did we realize what a pain in the ass it is.
The biggest pain for me is trimming the beard. I have a trimmer and all, but I slip sometimes and get a big hunk taken out of it.
I hate shavin, but thank god my face is the only thing I shave. Because man, it is a pain in the ass....and hurts when I am too lazy to use shaving cream etc and use water in stead.
I feel the same way. In fact I have the same schedule, except for summer when I don't have classes I only shave once or twice a week.
I use an electric... still not a joy or anything... but as long as I don't let it get too long where **** gets stuck and pulled out (Ouch!!!) it's bearable...
Need to shave every day, or else ... But I don't really mind, takes less than a minute ... zoom zoom zoom, done.
Since I'm a student, I don't mind letting my facial hair grow. I shave about once a week before it gets too long.
I hate shaving too -- I used to shave about once a week. My beard doesn't grow fast, and when it does, it's light so you can't really notice it for about two days. But after four or five days, it'd be pretty bad. About a month ago, on Woot, the item was a Norelco 6705. I hated my first electric, but I figured it'd be worth a shot at half-price, so I bought it. Took a bit of getting used to, but now I shave daily or every two days, and don't mind it. No irritation for the most part, shaves close (not as good as Mach 3, but still very close), comfortable, and fast.
my goal is to get a beard much like the prophet Muhammad this summer I will journey to Mecca, and try again.
Can you use this on your face? The site mentions every other area for hair removal except for the face. I ain't tryin' it 'til someone else smears this crap on his face first.
Have you tried shaving in the shower yet? Shaving also irritates my skin and can give me some really uncomfortable razor burn. However i since i started shaving before i get out of the shower i rarely have any problems unless the razor is geting old.
