I apologize ahead of time if this has already been posted. Didn't see anyting on the front page of NBA dish or hangout. Anyway, premieres tonight on ABC at 8ct. Anyone gonna give it a try? Over the years, I have tried my best not to like Shaq, but he makes it so hard.
I have no idea what you guys are talking abut. Shaq, Big Ben, ABC... what? Is this a show? There needs to be a "Lack of Information" Clutchfans award created just for this thread.
Talking about Shaq v. Big Ben (see thread title) Yes, it is a show, on ABC (ABC, is a network that offers programming (i.e. "shows") that premiered tonight (see 1st post). Sorry I didn't draw you a picture with crayons and cray paper.
Name/point of the show would have sufficed. Do they wrestle? Play one-on-one? Play checkers? Dance off?
Yeah, I read this and still couldn't figure out what the heck it was about. lol. I just turned to it and well... regretted it. What prompted this competition? The only thing that made it entertaining was Shaq acting like a dork again.
it took me a solid couple of moments to realize that this thread was talking about football big ben and not basketball big ben
Oh, it was Big Ben what's his name, the footballer. See ... I assumed the OP was talking about "Big Ben" Wallace. That's why I thought maybe it was a free throw competition, which I think would have been hilarious. Still no one has said what the competition was. Man, this thread fails terribly. F-- for the OP.
Name of the show is in the thread title. I don't know what the point of the show is. I've never seen it as the show just premiered tonight.
Maybe who can throw a football through a tire the most times? I assume its something football related. It would be nice if someone can actually recap what happened.
There is only one "Big Ben" in the world of sports. Yes, I mean the "footballer". That one. Shame on you, durvasa
Anyway, my apologies for apparently not being specific enough. Again, the 1st show was tonight so I had no idea what is was about other than the premis that Shaq and Big Ben (the clock in London) were going to be competing against each other in some sort of challenge. Was merely providing a "heads up" in case anyone forgot about it and wanted to catch the 1st episode. I though the show was OK. Nice to see them interacting with all the kids. It was a bit over-produced with a Pros v. Joes feel too it, but not as bad and a bit of a better show IMO. Not sure how much of it could have been stagge with the live audience there. Shaq came across as typical Shaq, which is usually entertaining. Big Ben was a good sport too and I like that the winner got to wear the other's championship ring. I'll tune in again. I think the show would work better of they match Shaq up with someone who is gregarious like he is (no offense against Big Ben the clock in London).
