Logo tweak

    What do you guys think about tweaking the logo to this? Found this hat on the Rockets shop website.

    Less clutter, no circle and sharp pointy red things. It still has the "R" and the "h" as well.

    I hate the blood drip/blast off red spike things, they especially look bad on the embroidered hats, but that's not the only thing I hate about the current logo.

    We need to change the whole damn thing or just rock the classics.

    Minor change, looks bout the same so to others besides fans it may go unnoticable but I like it.

    Especially with the protype jerseys you showed, berrrrry niiiicccee!

    Holy smoke, I was about to start a Concept Logo thread!

    The current logo is cool, but it feels like the Rockets are archiving the past and trying to start over. I think there is way too much tradition and history to let it be archived in glory days section at Toyota Center. Why not use a logo that reminds its fans of the glorious history of the Rockets? A parent can tell his/her kid about Ralph Samson’s miracle shot and how Horry started knocking down clutch shots in Houston first.

    I’m not saying that parents can’t do that now, but it would be a lot cooler if the logo was the constant between the Rockets trading for Drexler and Dwight Howard choosing the Houston Rockets in free agency (calm down).
    Historical franchises like the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, and Bulls either have the same logo, or put a few modern touches to their logo. If the Rockets did the same, their logo would also represent the history and tradition of the franchise.

    Here's a concept logo with tweaks/revisions that I came up with. These are basic, I'm sure someone can "prettify" it

    LOL I dunno, I just googled "Rockets black jersey" and there was a thread that came up and this was in it. It looks like T-Mac is about to do the Rondo.

    We definitely need new uniforms and a logo to mark the end of the yao and t-mac era. I like the direction the warriors went when they designed they're new logo, something new but timeless at the same time.
