Bad day for JJ. He's having surgery now on his back. Back surgeries can get very bad. Per DraftExpress.
you've been around for 3 months. clutch has got a nice system where you post the story and link or it gets locked. also the DUI is already being talked about in the NBA Draft forum.
http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=1341 i'll admit, i was one of the redick supporters if we were to trade down... but one bad back on a team is more than enough imo... let's get brewer or carney!
It sounds like an excuse he used to get out of the Magic workout, no news there, but the DUI is news.... Innocent until proven guilty... DD
That's a pretty elaborate excuse to get out of the Magic workout, there are many easier ways. But that's bad news anyway you look at it, the word "surgery" is going to drop him down for sure. Please tell me you forgot to add a smiley. Redick has already admitted to driving drunk and has apologized. He is guilty for sure but it's not that big of a deal IMO, just really bad timing.
Why can't you guys post articles in the correct forum.. Also.. why are there threads on the same subject in multiple forums.. It gets annoying.
You don't think that a back problem that may require surgery is not more important than his DUI. You are a Redick fan. Its a rumor but I didn't like Tellums answer to the question, he should have said it was some tightness because of his intense workout schedule and his DUI right around this time, sounds like he might have been drowning his sorrow about his back.
Great sounds like you're happy about his injury. I hope its not serious and he goes on to have a great NBA career just hope its in the EC.
Please Please Please tell me your kidding your telling me redicks agent put millions on the line to prove something an agent probably doesnt even care about!
Really? It's the exact opposite for me. A DUI is mistake that can be corrected and forgotten, it also doesn't have any affect on his playing ability. And while a bad back can be corrected as well, it has the potential of hampering a player's career. You're right that we're sensitive because of TMac's back, but I think it just shows that it can seriously hurt a player's ability to play no matter how athletic or how good of shape they are in.
Uh... Yeah, I'm off the Redick at #8 bandwagon now, still think his skills are good enough for that 8 pick, but not with a bad back.
Jumpman, you have the perfect name for this year's draft. We're jumping on and off bandwagons so fast you'd think we were Sooners.
