Okay, I got an iPod last week (60 gig) and nowhere near finished with putting stuff on there but I been having fun loading the stuff on there - I think I have 300 albums and 4187 songs right now on it. :D

So, I am now listening to albums off the iPod (as well as in the car), so we now can start asking the question, "What have you been listening to on your iPod?"

    For me, it has been:

"Mr. Tambourine Man" - The Byrds
    "Buffalo Springfield" - Buffalo Springfield
"Music From Big Pink" - The Band
"Turn! Turn! Turn!" - The Byrds
"Buffalo Springfield Again" - Buffalo Springfield
    "The Band" - The Band
"The Best of A Flock of Seagulls" - A Flock of Seagulls
    "The Wall" - Pink Floyd
"Are You Experienced?" - Jimi Hendrix
    "The Doors" - The Doors
    "Forever Changes" - Love
    "Strange Days" - The Doors
    "Electric Ladyland' - Jimi Hendrix

    And in the car:

    "Harvest" - Neil Young
    "Zuma" - Neil Young
"Comes a Time" - Neil Young
"Rust Never Sleeps" - Neil Young
    "Freedom" - Neil Young
    "Harvest Moon" - Neil Young

Right now my playlist is stuffed full of Cheese Eighties songs I'm learning for an acoustic eighties project (Spandau Ballet, Crowded House, Human League, Tears For Fears, Phil Collins, etc).

The new Ben Harper, Both Sides of the Gun, may be his best yet. So yeah, I've been listening to that a lot.

What's an IPod? Whatever it is, I have no use for it.

    Listening to concerts from:

    Bob Dylan- 1994, New York

CCR- 1971 Closing the Fillmore East

    The Clash- 1980 Jamaica

Elton John- 1970 Opening for The Kinks at the Fillmore West

    The Band- 1969 Woodstock

Van Morrison- 1971 Norway, 1974 Sweden

    Lots more....

Both Sides of the Gun has been my least favorite album of his so far. I haven't listened to it that much though so maybe it will grow on me.

I've been listening to the entire Daniel Johnston catalogue, exclusively, for the last four months. If anyone wants to know why, show up at the Axiom in Houston for opening night on May 25. And if you don't yet know who Daniel Johnston is, boy howdy are you missing out.
