What an idiot this guy is. However, I do give him credit for resigning immediately, which is what all politicians should do when they are caught doing illegal, unethical, or just generally acting stupid. Although, I don't know how many would be left to run the country.

He's the first of Boehner's Boys to actually resign, I would have had my money on Florida freshman David Rivera (R-FL25) who is under investigation, and likely to be indicted for, laundering secret campaign contributions from a dog track company by claiming them as income from USAID, for which he never worked. This jibes with his earlier sterling record of a murky (mistaken identity?) involvement with a domestic violence charge and his (coincidentally?) running a mail-truck off the road that contained flyers with information about his involvement with that charge And no, I am not making that part up. Those things actually happened.
