*** NOT LETTER TO PENTHOUSE, ACTUAL EVENT******* About 6 or so months back, I was on the subway and it was neither rush hour busy nor empty...sort of medium average. I was reading, although I can't remember what, and I was interrupted by hearing yelling,, albeit good natured, coming from the other end of the car just after a stop. I don't have the greatest eyes, so I didn't really look until the yelling started getting closer. I looked up to see this woman, in a long coat coming towards me with these 2 guys sort of following her and , if not quite yelling, at least being very forward. She seemed embarrassed, and the ex bar manager in me sort of looked for trouble, but the guys seemed to be fairly happy, and weren't really near her, just kind of trailing and trying to persuade her to go to some party with them. She came over and sat down next to me. I'd like to say that my mere presence scared these guys off, but they didn't really seem to notice me either way, kept up the chatter for a couple of minutes, and then got off the subway. After a while she broached conversation by asking what I was reading. Impressed as I was by the originality of her remark, and not at all by the fact that she was stunning, I told her, and then asked her about her 'friends'. She seemed to expect the question, and quickly explained that she was sort of famous, and that that kind of thing happened some times. She then told me she did adult films...I swear other people could hear, and she sure didn't whisper. Anyways, she than thanked me for helping her, whereupon I reconsidered the effect of my manly gaze upon those two young rapscalions ( ), but regrettably pointed out that I had, in fact, done nothing. I would have, had it gotten to be problematic, but I hadn't thought they were threatening her. Anyways, dear Penthouse, this is where it gets interesting. After talking for a while, learning that she went to College, was actually quite bright, and wanted to (surprise ) get into real films...she had already done a cross over, she called it...she says she's in town for a week or so, doesn't really know her way around, yadda yadda...and did I want to go for a drink? I say that I am on my way to meet a friend, which was true. She clarifies that it is not my girlfriend, and then takes out a piece of paper, writes down her name and the hotel/room number, and says I should give her a call in the next couple of days. We part, as they say, amicably...and I go along to an uneventful evening with friends. Never really considered calling her,even though she was really, really hot. I will admit to having rented a film with her in it since just to see if she was really who she said...and she was. Either she uses her real name, or she gave me her pseudonym. And yes, she is very hot. But I never called. Earlier this week I'm out with friends at a party, and I run into her again. She's still hot, and still friendly, and didn't point out that i hadn't called, although I offered excuses anyways. She just smiled and said maybe this time I could actually call her. My friends, when I get back to them, are going gaga...They know who she is, or at least Sean and Antony do. I tell them the story..and they ball me out. Now Antony is the type that will try to get with anything that moves and is at all hot, but Jeff is a really nice guy, especially for a musician D )...and he makes an interesting counterpoint to my reasoning for not calling her. I thought that what she does was an explanation, but he points out that I am the one always going on about not judging...I am the one who always rails about prejudice, etc. And it got me thinking...I am not just trying to rationalize calling a really hot woman that does something I might find unsavory...I am really wondering; am I being prejudiced? He says that health is not an issue, they apparently get tested weekly, or something. And I have always claimed I have no sexual insecurities...so why am I so automatically saying no? I don't really enjoy getting hit on/picked up, but this sort of happened organically...and did I mention she's very hot? I need advice, and I thought that a bunch of guys I sort of know but who dan't know me in person might be the best place to go for it. I'm not really asking whether I should call her...although she will only be here for another week or so...I'm asking if I'm a hypocrite. Seriously. Serious answers only, please. PEACE JAG.....and no, I'm not telling you her name...I'll just say that she's not blonde.
Speaking as a guy who's been hit on exactly twice in his life and turned down both ladies, I say . . . . WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?? AN ESPECIALLY ATTRACTIVE LADY WITH PROFESSIONAL SEXUAL EXPERIENCE WANTS TO MEET YOU FOR DRINKS. CALL HER IMMEDIATELY. Seriously, how often do you encounter attractive women who are interested in you? Who cares what she does - she's hot and willing to make the first move. Take advantage of a situation where you don't have to jump through hoops to get her interested. You may or may not regret calling her, but you will definitely have regrets if you do not.
Oh, come on. Guys get hit on all the time these days. If you don't see it, you're either not looking, or you aren't going where it happens ( ie outside your front door ). The thing isn't that she's hot...she is, but I was just playing that up for humour/emphasis...the thing isn't should I call her because she's a hot woman, the thing is am I a hypocrite if the underlying reason I'm not calling her is what she does for a living?
What's unsavory about the profession? If she's good enough to get paid for it... The only thing that would bug me would be the fact that she probably takes twelve inch wangs daily. Time for my keggles.
well, I think dating a p*rn star would be a difficult thing to do. But that's because of the negative feedback I would receive from my family. I do care about my family's opinions. But it would be less difficult if you knew in the future you would end the relationship. Basically, if you wanted to hit it a couple of times and then move on, well then go for it. But this reminds of that one high schooler who took a p*rn star named Houston to the prom a few years ago. That would be an easier thing to do because it's a one time thing.
Only ever watched Night Court to see Markie Post...was young...What was his reasoning for not doing it, he asked realizing that he is now seeking personal advice from a sit com.
He just realized that they were too different no matter how attractive, nice, and beautiful she was. He wanted her to quit and she wouldnt because she really enjoyed being an adult movie star. The fact I remember any of this is scaring me.
I read this whole thing expecting to find a name, but noooo, just some sob story from a hypocrite \ J/K of course. Ok, I think you are being hypocritical because you mentioned that she was hot every chance you got, so obviously, that intrigues you. You aren't attached as far as I can tell, a hot women wants to go out with you, and you aren't gay, so they only reason you didn't call her was because you have a problem with what she does. Whether it's the fact that she has sex for a living or just the idea that she's been with lots of other guys, professioinal guys that bugs you, only you know why you turned her down. Anyways, it's not like you are gonna marry this girl (though there is a possibility, if we through vegas and alcohol into this equation) so you should open yourself up to a new experience and see where it goes. PS- if you do go out, don't push for sex, you don't want her to think that you just want to bang a p*rn star. PPS- Come'on, you can email me the name, or IM it to me. Help a Liberal brother out.
MacBeth, you must call her, she is attractive, bright and obviously has for some strange reason some interest in you. You are most certainly a hypocrite if you don't call her and ask he out for a drink or just to catch up. Remember she just wants you to call her, then maybe catch-up, have drink and some conversation. If she was any other girl (same looks and bright, but without the p*rn star job) you would have certainly called her by now.... YES, you would have and you know it Don't get ahead yourself, this not about dating or having a long term relationship with a p*rn star, this is about a drink, one get together, who knows where it goes from there, but right now the hypocrite in you is saying no, to an opportunity the normal views of MacBeth would say yes to.
