The first portion is these indoctrinated children singing in praise of Obama...The second part (small part) shows indoctrinated children singing in praise of Hitler...

I don't remember children being made to sing for a U.S. Presidential nominee...Either Obama is now a deity-GOD or something is seriously wrong with this picture.

These children should be out playing...get up and be a player or something...Seriously...I don't have anything against telling your kids your nominee is the better choice...

Heck, I tell my 2 daughters that McCain and Palin is the way of the future (at least Palin)...but I'll be pretty much against any dress up praise singing...For one thing kids singing is enough to make you want to jump off your roof!!!...

I love kids...seriously...but this is too much...

****WARNING: DO NOT OPEN LINK IF YOU MAY CLIMB YOUR ROOF AFTER VIEWING, JUMP AND HOLD ME LIABLE FOR BODILY INJURY****

talk about blowing it out of proportion, guy.

Its just a damn candidate, not an ideology. Those hitler youth believed he WAS GOD, read the damn subtitles and come back and tell me they convey the same message.

Talk about your usual hate-filled propaganda...

Check it out, Rox. The conspiracy doesn't end there.

Apparently, Yao-only fans = Goebbels, too. Stunning video evidence here.

I'm kind of torn here. Outside of Christmas time, or until heck freezes over and I start a family, any display of kids collectively singing makes me physically ill. But I actually believe there is a long term, ancillary benefit of giving kids an enhanced interest and involvement in politics down the road.

Kind of a fine line linking other people's kids to the Genocide Webelos, hmm? "People in who live in kids' houses shouldn't throw Nazis," or...something.

There is this thing called separation of church and state that many people misinterpret. It goes like this: The church can not force their ideology on the government (this will not happen with the constant bickering among churches) and the government can not tell the people what deity should/how be served. It has nothing to do with the 10 commandments in a court or a nativity scene on public property or whether someone swears on the koran. It has everything to do with a government leader putting a motion into play saying its "Gods will".

Just as my tax dollars (education) should not be used to indoctrine our kids for a certain religion or way of life, nor should they be used to promote a candidate, republican or democrat. The part that burns me is we are trying to get away from reciting the Pledge of Alliance or National Anthem, which promotes patriotism, to glorifying a specific candidate.

Wow, comparing kids singing a song about Obama to the Hitler Youth, basically calling the Democrats Nazis. You should take the advice of another poster and bring a more civil discourse to the board:

    link

Wow, it's a good thing my computer has an ironic surge protector or else it would have EXPLODED. I guess your solution to the problem is to be so friggin' dumb you don't realize you've contradicted yourself in a matter of minutes as you throw stones from your glass shack. How can you be so obtuse? Is it deliberate?

At least the "Nixon Now" kids could carry a tune.

"Reaching out to find a way /
To make tomorrow a brighter day.
    Making dreams reality.
More than ever, Nixon now for you and me.
    ...
    He's made the difference.
    He's shown us how.
    ...
    Listen America, Nixon now.
    Reaching out across the sea.
Making friends where folks used to be. [?]
    Giving hope to humanity.
More than ever, Nixon now for you and me."

Stupid. Simply enough, stupid. Indoctrination of young'uns is indeed stupid.

My point: that having children sing jingles for a chosen candidate used to be a popular form of advertising during election seasons. Everybody likes Ike, e.g. Tastes have changed, for the better.

But indoctrinating your children to believe in a former constitutional law professor who's on the record against the overreaches of the Patriot Act, suspension of habeas corpus, torture, etc., is a far, far cry than indoctrinating your children to support a megalomaniac who, when elected, vows to end the democracy and invade neighboring lands.

Do you see that distinction, that comparing these idiot children/parents to Hitler Youth is many, many bridges too far?

Explanation for your blatant contradiction? Coherent logic? Consistency?... Where are they in your posts? Oh nevermind...

I'm not wasting any more time grasping at your fog-filled rhetoric. This will be the last post addressing you until I collect on the bet after Obama CRUSHES McCain in November.

I think mc mark's post was the only one on the appropriate intellectual level for this thread.

mark, where did you get that?

On "topic," do we really have to post youtubes of Jesus Camp? Think they're not singing for McCain this year? Or at least Palin? *yawn*

More shark and explosion pictures please. Or at least cat pictures.
