I can only assume that you are arguing with t_j on this since his "voice" is blissfully silent. Keep in mind that he will not address all of your points and once he is shown up, will simply declare an all-caps victory message and run away.

You will find this board much more intelligent and civil if you add him to your ignore list.

kerry on the death penalty in a 2002 interview w/ tim russert, one of the mor gratuitous vietnam references:

"I am for the death penalty for terrorists because terrorists have declared war on your country. And just as I, in a war, was prepared to kill in defense of my nation, I also believe that you eliminate the enemy and I have said publicly that I support that."

dude, the whole guard issue arose in this campaign because of michael moore, wes clark, and terry mcawful. other dems and their fellow travelers in the media picked it up and ran w/ it. now kerry and his campaign have succumbed. the nam issue was entirely of kerry's own doing.

You are a hypocrite if you support W based on war records.

For the last time, please stop acting like service in the National Guard is not honorable.

    Your arguments:

Summary Judgment is GRANTED in favor of SamFisher.

While I won this round, the real winner will be the American people when Walker Bush is deposed in November.

Oh! My mistake. I apoplogize, what war did/does Bush fight in?

Or, again, is he one of those pirivileged, cowardly boys that has let other's do his fighting and dying for him?

And FWIW, I was just missed Vietnam, but I registered for the draft and was prepared to do my duty. What Bush did was pure cowardice and is an offense to all who have served our country.

You have failed to defend yourself. I accept your SURRENDER as defined above. Thank you for your surrender. You have proven that you are unable to rebut the points I listed. You have now proven this twice. Simple as that.

    Sam, you just got

    OWNED

No Cohen, you don't seem to understand. What you said was sending our troops to battle disgusts you. Sending our troops to battle is defending our country. I guess I didn't make that clear enough for you.

Jorge, your cause has been dismissed with prejudice and you are yet again in CONTEMPT. Your attempts to relitigate this dispute are PRECLUDED, and are wholly FRIVOLOUS in any event.

As your current, present, and future owner, I may be legally liable for any monetary sanctions you incur so I suggest you pipe down.

interesting comment by john o'neill from the press conference. sort of gives the lie to the kerry campaign's arguement that they're all republican shills:

"We endorse nobody at all for president. If Kerry drops out and allows the Democratic Party a genuine choice, a fit choice to be commander-in-chief, we're all going home," O'Neill said. "We're unified on absolutely nothing, except one thing: John Kerry is not a fit commander-in-chief based on our experience with him."

Oh no, that was quite clear.

Guess you didn't comprehend my point; defending one's country is when you risk your own skin, not someone else's. Bush is asking, excuse me, ordering others to risk their skin for our country, whereas he was unwilling to do the same.

Shall I try wording it another way so you can understand, or did you 'get it' yet?

All it shows is that the Republicans would try and use a different tool than this group if it was another candidate. These shills are the right tools for this job, so if the nominee was somebody else they would go home, because there comments would have even less relevance than it does now. It doesn't mean that they aren't Republican shills.

However, I do believe they are more anti-Kerry than anything else. kerry did after all expose these offices for ordering folks to enter free-fire zones and mow people down for breaking a curfew. They didn't like that, and have bared a grudge.

    Here is the rub...

O'NEILL HAD NO EXPERIENCE WITH KERRY IN VIETNAM!

uh... no. O'Neill took over the swift boat when Forbes Kerry tucked tail and ran home early. Clearly, there was interaction between the two upon transfer of command.

O'neill arrived in Vietnam 11 months after Kerry left... that must have been some long transfer.

    1. Prove that please rimrocker.

    2. They served in the same naval unit. It is clear that they came in contact with one another.

Sam, I see that you are still bitter about your humiliation in this thread. It was truly legendary. I will bookmark it for future reference. I do thank you for surrendering as you most clearly did.

I eagerly await rimrocker's proof. I also would like to point out that independent of when these people got to Vietnam, they were in the same naval unit, thereby making the chances that they knew one another very very high.

It's been a horrible day for you Sam. Sorry to put you through all that. I just couldn't resist the temptation to shame you yet again.

Jorge, does it burn you that I can both shame you on an intellectual level (e.g. the Rubinomics retreat, inter alia) and on a juvenile level (the SUMMARY JUDGMENT) at a whim? Really must give you a bit of an insecurity complex and/or an identity crisis....

I can pretty much whoop you at your own game and at big boy games on call....in the future I promise to let you have the lower plane to yourself.

    bye now!

    :)
