and I was successful! I still have not seen inception; it does not arrive to this country until August 8 however, looking at the previews and reading some of the reviews got me interested. Last night was weird because I woke up at 2am and did not go back to bed until 4:30am. I think this helped me because as I was lying in bed trying to go back to sleep I tried to remain focused determined that I would control my dream. I reached that state of half asleep half conciousness, this is the state where lots of night terrors occur, and I started feeling uneasy like there was an evil presence in the room. Instead of fighting it I gave into it and pressed on, until I realized I was dreaming entirely. I found myself in a living room in some log cabin I have never seen before. I knew the entire time this was a dream and a part of me was concious. I got up and looked down at my hands and body and everything looked the same. I started walking around controlling my movements as if it were real life. I went to a mirror to see my reflection but it was cracked and was not able to see a clear image of myself. Then I tried to experiment. I began jumping up and down (trying to fly). At first if felt like regular jumping. Then as I pressed on I could jump higher and higher until I almost touched the ceiling (which was like 15 feet high). After this I began teaching myself how to fly and began flying all over this large room. The biggest difference between last night and other dreams I've had is that first, this fel so much more real than any other dream I can remember. I had to constantly remind myself that I was asleep in bed and not manipulating gravity and the laws of physics. Secondly I was very concious the entire time realizing that I was controlling this alternate world. I did not venture out of the cabin because for some weird reason I felt like I was not ready. I felt like I was in a training room ala Matrix dojo style and if I left before I was trained something bad would happen. Anyway I look forward to doing more tonight and becoming really good at this. It really is incredible and I reccommend it to anyone. Oh and to save you guys some time...
If I were a betting man I would wager that you simply dreamt that you were lucid dreaming and not actually doing it.
so you had a lucid dream and the best you could come up with was flying? why not naked orgy with victoria secret models? But i have dreams where i feel like i'm in control fairly often. It's quite cool
So did I. I just started shouting instructions on how to properly assemble a spaceship. Weird stuff, didn't like it.
I'm sure Rox_fan_here doesn't mind. I know I wouldn't... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=5449678&postcount=142
I still cannot get to the point where I can control the dream, I am very rarely aware I am dreaming. The only thing I am able to do is go to bed and tell myself I will remember all my dreams and I do. But but other than that, I have had little success.
I don't want to control my dream, the whole point of dreaming IMO is to lose control and just let it take it where it will. I rather enjoy the journey then control it.
I dreamt once that I died and in my death i entered an eternal dream where I practically was trapped in a world I created. Knowing this I thought up of a chocolate chip cookie and there it was, I ate it and enjoyed. Than I woke up, too bad I woke up before I could have some real fun.
Great legs! Hawaiian Baby Woodrose (Argyreia nervosa) seeds have an alleged impact on the brain, producing very interesting effects. Scrapping off the white substance on the skin of the seeds is a must, supposedly, due to that substance being toxic. Can you use them and have bizarre dream experiences? Some think you can, or so I've heard.
