I thought of this question when I saw the thread about the most annoying tourist. I was wondering how much the BBS members have traveled. So the question is how many (and which) foreign countries have you visited? Rules: You must have stayed in the country for more than 8 hours and left the airport (so a transit does not count and traveling through the country also doesn ’t count). I have visited 19 countries. In November I’m going to visit my brother in Peru and travel around for 4 weeks, so than it will be 20 countries (looking forward to it) My countries are: Europe Belgium Luxembourg Germany France Switzerland Czech Republic Austria England Spain Andorra Croatia Turkey Asia Israel Jordan Kyrgyz republic Malaysia Thailand Africa Egypt South Africa
23 and counting........ US Mexico Canada Taiwan China Singapore Thailand Japan Nigeria The Netherlands England France Denmark Finland Norway Sweden Estonia Russia New Zealand Germany Austria Czech Republic Azerbaijan booked Italy and Oktoberfest (second round) for Sept/Oct this year so will be at 24 by year end
Interesting, I'll have to list them to count. Europe: United Kingdom (if Wales counts, then it's England + Wales) France Germany Belgium Greece (This October Italy Asia: China (duh) Japan South Korea Taiwan (might as well put it to boost the number) Singapore Everywhere Else: The USA Canada Bah, only 13 countries.
25 countries, 24 years old. Austria Belgium Brazil Canada Czech Republic Egypt France Germany Hungary Israel Italy Mexico Monaco Netherlands Pakistan Portugal Russia Slovakia Spain Switzerland United Arab Emirates United Kingdom United States Vatican City West Bank
Wow, I'm really jealous of you guys. I didn't start traveling internationally until 3 years ago. The only place I've been are to: England Wales (I know it doesn't REALLY count since it's part of the UK with England) Ireland Though next summer, I hope to change all of that by flying to Italy, then taking the train through the rest of Europe, back over to England, and then fly back to the US. So that'll add quite a few to my list.
Canada Mexico France England (but I was very young) Switzerland Germany Italy Spain (it was under 8 hours, but I drove over the border from France specifically to visit) All my travel is concentrated in Europe and I'd like to branch out some. With twins due in a couple months, I suppose that won't happen for several years.
Germany Austria Belgium Netherlands Czech Republic Spain France England Scotland Switzerland Italy Mexico BVI's Bahamas
I thought I traveled a lot! Well, mainly all over in U.S. but that doesn't count. Two countries: Europe (Italy) and Mexico I'm gonna go on a cruise and it'll make stops in Cozumel, Jamaica and Cayman Islands. I guess it'll be 4 by Sept??
15- England Ireland Portugal Spain France Italy Croatia Austria Czech Republic Germany Switzerland Netherlands Denmark Mexico Canada
I remembered 29, but a couple of the states carved out of the former Yugoslavia could have been added, and Hong Kong, which was a Crown Colony at the time, or China, whichever is currently PC. And I visted Jordan before the 1967 war, seeing a lot of what is now Israel, but that would be too picky, putting Israel in there... or the State of Palestine. Whatever. Probably 30, altogether.
damn, i wish i had the time to travel more... i’ve been to: mexico england netherlands spain france germany italy liechtenstein austria switzerland czech republic slovenia slovakia hungary tennessee
My countries are: Europe England SE Asia Region Thailand South Korea Philippines Singapore Hong Kong (China) Austrailia Americas Canada Mexico Venezuela Brasil Colombia Argentina A majority were for work, back in the day...I had a shot and a hurricane drink at every hard rock too, but my ex trashed them in the divorce...b*tch... On a side note, I just drove 3000 miles across the U.S....
North America: Canada Mexico South America: Peru Asia: Japan Africa: The Gambia Europe: United Kingdom -England -Scotland -Wales Ireland France Spain Denmark The Netherlands Czech Republic Germany Austria Italy Poland Greece Monaco I've been to most of the European countries several times. So, 20, if you count England, Scotland, and Wales as three. 18 if you count GBR as one. Edit: forgot The Vatican. I'm at 21. (or 19, if you prefer.)
Mexico Canada Bahamas Cayman Islands Honduras (Roatan Island) Saint Lucia Germany Austria Switzerland France Netherlands UK in 2010 I am doing a Med cruise and should picked up: Spain Malta Tunisia Italy Corsica maybe Monte Carlo I could be at 18 by end of next summer.
lol, I work for an Airline... Ireland (HOME ^_^ ) USA Canada Mexico Nicaragua Brazil Chile Argentina Greenland England Wales Italy Denmark Tanzania South Africa Niger India Japan China Mongolia Singapore Australia New Zealand Russia Hungary Poland And so many others. All for free pretty much.
