I've been informed that Chris Bellmer, who posts on the board as "BroadwayBelm", died in a car accident. He was just 21 years old. http://ocolly.com/2008/09/02/even-if-you-didn’t-know-them-it-still-hurts/ Rest in peace Chris -- you'll be missed.
Clutch, how did you find out about this? I know it may seem weird, but something I've always wondered is if something like this happened to me if my friends on here would find out. I sure hope so. Very sad news even though I was not personally close with this poster.
How sad Always a sad day when young lives are taken so abruptly. This one hits closer to home. RIP BroadwayBelm +
Hello, I am a poster on another board w/ Broadwaybelm. It was the board in his signature and we are all crushed by this. He was a GREAT dude. We will be collecting money in honor of him to donate to a charity (which charity will be decided later--if you have any ideas, please suggest them). We may also donate this to his family. If you would like to donate, you can do so by sending money through PayPal to refugeesbrick@gmail.com. RIP, BroadwayBelm. That email is run through another member at another site who I trust who also has done fundraising in the past. The money will either go to his family if we can contact them and if not to a charity in his name. Please include your screename and what site you're from in the paypal mesage. Thanks.
For more news on Broadways passing, or on how to donate please visit the site that he loved so much and was a moderator on. http://madein1903.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2476 Our RIP thread to him and http://madein1903.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2479 Our thread on donations. I believe we have over $150 and counting now. Please, do not take this as a plug for my board, as that is the absolute last thing that I want this to be. This is about helping a great friends family, and every one from the Yankees, Notre Dame and Rockets communities where he so actively posted would very much appreciate a donation in his honor. Thank you and god bless.
Man, that is sad. RIP. I will be having Jacks Spicy Chicken today. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=3732308&postcount=9
man, life isn't fair. these things hurt and really make you stop and think even when you don't know the person from a hole in the wall. rest in peace, chris. that's a really kind thing you guys at that other board are doing for him.
RIP BroadwayBelm. Here is his Profile for those who are interested. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/member.php?userid=22085
Great idea, and I'm sure your intentions are in the right place... but it might be better to set up a specific fund for any donations, sometimes people get stupid when a large sum of money is involved. Not insinuating anything at all, just saying that if you can get something set up, this site could really help his family with the funeral costs. I think every clutchfan who reads this board donated even a dollar, it would be a huge help. I see he is originally from Katy, there are a lot of prominent posters on this board from there who might be able to reach out to his family.
