This guy is worthless and has single handedly lost us games this season.

Tonight in a 2 point game, he comes in and Wallace knocks down a crucial jumper in his mug... good defense you might say since he was in front of him but if all you do is play defense and you give us nothing on offense then you have to make a stop when we need one, plain and simple.

On the offensive end he jacks up two horrible 3's and missed a point blank layup which resulted in a Bobcat 9-0 run to end all of hopes of us winning.

This year he has hurt us when he's on the floor and we'll continue losing with him logging heavy minutes. A trade of Battier would be best for this organization if we hope to have any chance of salvaging our season.

stfu dude seriously. im annoyed as hell at this loss, but it's not on battier ITS ON OUR ENTIRE PATHETIC TEAM

a bunch of losers who can't play defense to save their lives. the defense on that shot was fine, but the rest of the game? we left people open for too many jumpers and we didn't even protect the paint, when they drove they pretty much always scored. we have ZERO interior defense, so before you start blaming the wing defenders WATCH THE DAMN GAMES AND OPEN YOUR FRIGGIN EYES...im so tired of these idiots picking out one player and demanding we trade him. yes battier has shot the ball TERRIBLY this season, but so has chase, and chase doesnt play defense...but you dont say you wanna trade him????

    ughhhh STFU

First of all, there's already a battier thread started due to tonight's game.

Second of all, the actual time we lost the game was att he start of the third. That was due to charlotte making it their objective to take everything inside, one way or another. That's on the front office/coaches for not getting help for the team inside and not inserting Hill or JJ to slow it down.

Third, we've lost with him barely playing 20 mins. In 3 of our 4 wins he played 32, 40, and 36 minutes. The 4th win he only played 24, but that was in a blowout win over Minny where he got early rest.

Fourth, if you think trading battier saves our season, then you need to watch more of the games because that'll still leave us with significant problems.

This person you're "not talking about" couldn't possibly be Martin could it? ;)

Anyway, he hasn't played a lickity split of D, so I definitely understand your point.

As for trading Battier, you could put up a good arguement for trading just about anybody on our team right now the way we're looking. Also, some of the threes he's thrown up have been shot clock related as a result of us not being able to drive or dish to an open man.

It's funny how you pop up in every Battier thread with your "objectivity," yet you claim all I post about is Battier, lol. It's also funny because you like posting about him so much, but you won't answer a simple question that I've posed to you multiple times that's related to him.

I don't remember Battier shooting so many 3's when he was in Memphis, he used to shoot that face up midrange.

He used to be deadly from the corner, now he just sucks.

He is still good on D, but a zero on O...time to hit the bench...

Accountability would be nice for a change.

What an ass. I can't believe the guy missed eight shots. You know what would be worse? If he missed double that amount of shots, like the guy he was guarding.

I don't understand why he has to play so minutes. I'd rather see Jermaine Taylor get some of those minutes.

Have you ever been critical of Battier for anything he's done or are you just a blind supporter? If it's the former, please provide an example. If it's the latter, why should we take your posts seriously since you lack objectivity?

So you suggest starting Bud? The guy who couldn't hit anything until last game? The guy who offers nothing on the defensive end and nothing on the offensive end if his shots aren't falling?

Bud's shots were not falling in the second half, and he was deadweight out there.

I don't see how making our bad defence even worse solves anything.

You keep deflecting attention away and avoiding the issue.
